Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW28

We have 3-weeks-worth of results to catch up on, so let’s not mess around and get straight to it!

GW25 – Only 4 people correctly guess this week’s FGS, one of those was Tekno-kun, who along with WhoIsRonaldo, Botman and Robben, OddDane and Padster all finished with 10pts and take third place. In second we have Ivan, who also correctly predicted the FGS, redmecca and eggwich all on 12pts, but out in front with 14pts (having also correctly guessed the FGS) we have sweetbluetoffee who takes the GW25 win. Nice.

GW26 – No less than 16 of you correctly guessed this week’s FGS, including all our winners. Nathc168 and Stone frog take third with 12pts, in second with a lucky 13 we have eplnoob, but out in front with 15pts it’s our very own Gear showing us how its’ done.

GW27 – Finally we have a week where nobody got the FGS, but still some decent scores. I completely forgot to put my predictions in, needless to say, I won’t be collecting back-to-back league titles. Oops. Stone Frog didn’t forget, 12pts enough for third, one better with 13pts is Jamie Mc and Tekno-kun in second, but with 14pts, it’s Shinespark who takes the win in GW27. Hurrah.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded t-shirt.

• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
