FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 10
Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 10
For many FPL managers, Gameweek 9 was the turning point where scores of over 100 saw huge rank rises. For others, it was a grim affair, especially those who went against captain favourite Haaland. We landed somewhere in the middle.
We captained the right player (Haaland – who else?) and he netted over half our points (46 from 87). We got fortunate with Trippier’s 8pts following his substitution (prior to Newcastle conceding) and we backed the right 4th defender in Neco because despite his -1pt return, it was better than the -2pt that Dalot got stuck on our bench. You have to celebrate the small wins right?
The reason for all those 100+ point returns was of course thanks to 3 of the big-name midfielders returning a double-digit return; Maddison (18pts), Foden (19pts) and Bowen (14pts). Hell, Trossard (20pts) beat the lot; sadly, we had none of them. However, we did get the rub of the green on Monday with our ‘back-up-keeper’ Ward picking up a much-needed 8. Small wins remember!
So as mentioned, we finished the game week with 87pts which saw us grab a green arrow and a rank rise from 1,095,583 to 796,639 thanks to the average coming in at 68pts. We’ll take it.
Our Gameweek 9 Result
We have £0.5 in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of Gameweek 10. Let’s go see what was decided.
Our Gameweek 10 Transfer(s)
We find ourselves with 2 free transfers (Hurrah) but we also have 5 players from Man City and Arsenal with the blank in Gameweek 12 fast approaching (boo). However, we do still have our Wildcard (back to hurrah!). So, our plans much depend on what we intend to do with all of the above taken into account.
We got together and threw some names around, even Solanke’s name was mentioned, things were getting desperate. So, we came up with a plan. Sort of. Let’s just call it a rough plan. As things stand we will look to move on 3 of our Arsenal and City contingent between now and Gameweek 12, essentially dead-ending into the blank and then come out in Gameweek 13 all guns blazing with our Wildcard in play, awesome!
Still with us? Ok, Great! So when all is said and done, we have 4 transfers (between now and Gameweek 12), and we need to use 3 of those 4 removing City and Arsenal players, we decided we don’t want to remove any of them this week so we essentially have a free roll of the dice.
Whilst Luis Diaz returned 4pts, he didn’t start the match. Not ideal, and given the form Firmino and the return of Darwin and Jota, his starting place is far from assured. So we decided he was our fall guy. The man coming the other way is James Maddison (£8.1m) fresh off the back of his 18pts. Some may accuse us of point chasing, but we’re in good company with nearly 400k managers also bringing him in. Maddison has 4 ‘green’ fixtures up next; Bournemouth(A), Palace(H), Leeds(H), Wolves(A), we would like a bit of that, please!
To confirm then we have SOLD Luis Diaz and BOUGHT James Maddison
Captain – Erling Braut Haaland (we don’t need to explain this one!)

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News
Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.
As a quick reminder –
There are two versions of this article.
The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.
The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.
What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? First, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news, they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.
As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up-to-date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.
Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.
You can access our live feed to these here.
