Welcome to FF247 Site Team & Predicted Line Ups Gameweek 11

“Have we still got our wildcard?”

We have had 2 free transfers in our pocket since Moses left Manchester and every week in the chat someone will say, “remember we have the wildcard to play some time?” That day always seems to be another day because by and large, we’re doing OK.

There’s also that striking green banner on the screenshot I sent which says “PLAY WILDCARD” – that’s another litlle clue.

By now you’ll have realised that we are playfully digging out one of our own – a man who offers the impression that he doesn’t know which day of the week it is, a man who despite this does really well at FPL usually, a man who is a good mate but who’s comment about a proposed Darwin Nunez move – liking his most recent and next opponents – will not make the published version of this article becuase, well your author this week says so and is in no way still in a huff.

(Follow the clues and you’ll be able to identify both) … and yes, we do still have our wildcard!

Anyway, Gameweek 10, how was it for you?

Your FF247 Site Team scored 67 points in it. Above the average of 58 comfortably and a green arrow to 764,145. Nice.

A steady 7 from Kieran Trippier and a worldy 18 from Joao Cancelo, dragged up a defensive nightmare elsewhere with Ward (1), James (1) and Dalot (2) rounding out the back lot.

Similarly in midfield, Kevin De Bruyne (6) and Gabriel Martinelli (12) carried James Maddison (1) and (autosub) Pascal Gross (2) in a game of we do half and you take it off which seems to carry through our team most weeks.

Up front, Haaland as captain didn’t blank (of course!) but just a 12 at home to Southampton feels like a chance missed but I guess everyone and their auntie had him so nothing lost. Gabriel Jesus with an assist in Arsenal’s win nabbed us our final 5 points.

Our Gameweek 10 Result

We have £0.4mln in the bank and 2 free transfers (AND A WILDCARD) to use ahead of Gameweek 11. Let’s go see what was decided.

Our Gameweek 11 Transfer(s)

After the aforementioned Darwin Nunez move which would have to have involved a defensive downgrade of our injured Reece James, was dismissed (sorry Rich), then we felt it best to deal with the James injury by grabbing another Chelsea defender and rolling a FT into Blank Gameweek 12 and reassessing with 2 free moves again (safe as houses aren’t we?)

And then we looked at what Graham Potter has done so far which is play anyone everywhere with no rhyme or reason (admittedly with results) so we looked at Matt Doherty who having played the last league match and with Emerson Royal suspended and having being rested in Europe, should have a good chance of playing in the next two.

We’re wildcarding soon haven’t you heard?

To confirm then we have SOLD REECE JAMES and BOUGHT MATT DOHERTY

Captain – ERLING BRAUT HAALAND

Jesus is the vice.

Predicted Line-ups and FPL Team News

Rather than clutter the site up on deadline eve with too many articles we have tagged our predicted line-ups on here.

As a quick reminder –

There are two versions of this article.

The one below has a drop-down version. It’s fairly idiot proof – you simply click on the small arrow to the right of the team name and you get a drop-down list of all the teams. Simply click on the one you want to see and hey presto, etc. This is the published article with the comments section to crack on with.

The other one is permanently live and has the ‘nicer’ grid layout. If you want to see that version you can click here. This can also be easily accessed at any time via a myriad of links on our homepage – Header link, Hot Topics link, Quick Access link on mobile and it is also linked towards the end of all of our regular articles.

What you see below is a live link to what Drafthound have on their website. Why is that significant? Well, firstly, it now means that the second they make any updates in reaction to live team news then they will also appear on here. Being uber helpful in that respect they also time-stamp all of their line-ups so you can tell to the minute when it was last updated.

As an additional extra if you click on any player icon on the team line-up that will take you to their own page on Drafthound, from where you can see up to date season stats, their upcoming fixture schedule and use a comparison tool to view similar players.

Given their time and effort in providing this content for us it would be rude not to occasionally click on the Drafthound link and check out their own fabulous content as there are FPL articles aplenty on there too.

You can access our live feed to these here.
