FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37
Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37
It’s yet another DGW! And don’t worry, it’s the last one now until deep into next season. This time it’s a bit Manchester heavy, with a splattering of Brighton (of course), and Chelsea (what’s the point).
As for the games themselves we begin on Saturday with Brentford going to Spurs at 12.30pm, sans their main talisman. We’d bet Ivan’s house that Spurs win this one as a result, if only it was legal to do so.
We have 4 four gasmes at 3pm with varying implications – Bournemouth vs Man Utd (Champions League for the latter), Fulham vs Palace (meh), Liverpool vs Villa (Champions League for the former) and Wolves vs Everton (relegation, gulp!).
5.30pm is laced with implications as Forest welcome Arsenal for a relegation / title decider. Possibly both, or neither, or a bit of each.
West Ham better sober up before Sunday with Leeds coming to town at 1.30pm for their relegation reckoning. Then at 2pm we have a derby (in name) with Brighton v Saints before Man City look to finish off what Forest probably failed to do for them last night, away at Chelsea at 4pm – the title.
Don’t worry – we still hasve 3 days of football left yet!
Newcastle and Leicester have markedly different agendas on Monday, Brighton and Man City may have none come Tuesday, and Man Utd vs Chelsea on Wednesday will go a long way to deciding 4th place, perhaps.
The games in full…

Evening all,
2 FTs and 0 ITB what should I do?
Pep roulette coupled with having won the title already has me thinking that I might do something like Haaland to Firmino. It is Firmino’s last ride with Liverpool and I imagine he’d start. That is what I’m considering but I have nothing to loose or gain I guess. I’m not fighting for top spot anywhere. Everton fighting for survival makes me think one could also pull in from there.
14 points off 1st in my ML. Thinking I have to bring in a couple of attackers, maybe firmino in for haaland and then gross out for maybe maddison? Or eze
Second part of my question is captain tactics. I reckon he will most likely go salah. Does that mean I should choose a different captain, doing that though will obviously make me want salah to blank
I like the Firmino touch, i hope he starts. Try and cappo the same and try and nick 14 pts with other players. I actually think this gw is a minefield and only the teams that have something to play for will go full strength.
It’s his last game and Liverpool have nothing to play for really so I reckon he starts no? Masdison or eze?
I think I would pick an Everton asset before Leicester but I too have nothing to play for.
Everton player of eze? Who though
McNeil is who I’m considering if I go that direction.
You think that’s a better choice than maddison
For me I say so. But I did say I have nothing to win or lose. I am not chasing my ML. I am nowhere near the top of that. I also just never got much from Maddison when I did have him so I suppose I think he’s a bit of a troll.
