Welcome to FPL Live Match Chat Gameweek 37
It’s yet another DGW! And don’t worry, it’s the last one now until deep into next season. This time it’s a bit Manchester heavy, with a splattering of Brighton (of course), and Chelsea (what’s the point).

As for the games themselves we begin on Saturday with Brentford going to Spurs at 12.30pm, sans their main talisman. We’d bet Ivan’s house that Spurs win this one as a result, if only it was legal to do so.

We have 4 four gasmes at 3pm with varying implications – Bournemouth vs Man Utd (Champions League for the latter), Fulham vs Palace (meh), Liverpool vs Villa (Champions League for the former) and Wolves vs Everton (relegation, gulp!).

5.30pm is laced with implications as Forest welcome Arsenal for a relegation / title decider. Possibly both, or neither, or a bit of each.

West Ham better sober up before Sunday with Leeds coming to town at 1.30pm for their relegation reckoning. Then at 2pm we have a derby (in name) with Brighton v Saints before Man City look to finish off what Forest probably failed to do for them last night, away at Chelsea at 4pm – the title.

Don’t worry – we still hasve 3 days of football left yet!

Newcastle and Leicester have markedly different agendas on Monday, Brighton and Man City may have none come Tuesday, and Man Utd vs Chelsea on Wednesday will go a long way to deciding 4th place, perhaps.

The games in full…

      Salah, TAA, Kane, Son maybe.
Depends how Utd do on Wednesday against Brighton

If Man U win or draw on Thursday their 4th place is secured and they become irrelevant for Sunday. If that’s not the case, then it will be down to the wire between them and pool. If City are merciful tomorrow against Brighton they will have the appetite to knock out whoever occupies the 5th place on the last day and also stay in place for Europa League chased by Villa. Spurs might try to sneak into the 7th with a chance for the Europa Conference league. And of course, Everton, Leicester and Leeds all will be playing for a survival. Everyone else will be just guest to the season closing party.

Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal players. Avoid City (Peptation going into overdrive at the mo with the two finals around the corner).

Maybe Calvert-Lewin as differential? Massive incentive to stay up (obviously) and looked quite good the other day.

Liverpool, United, Palace, Arsenal and maybe Everton would be where I’d focus if I had FH.

The different possibilities are baffling tbh. I have thought of getting in Diaz (from Liverpool) and maybe Watkins or Jesus as my 2 FT, as I think Liverpool could do a number on Southampton if they’re in the right mood and hopefully Arsenal are still up for it as well! Going past the obvious choice of a Palace mid. Anything is possible though! smile
