We have 3 weeks’ worth of results this week so I’ll not hang around yacking and get straight to it!

GW30

A relatively high-scoring game with almost everyone getting the week’s FGS correct. Mfon3667 and SomHi3i duked it out for third place with 18pts whilst Shinespark looked on in amusement from their loft perch of second with 19pts. However laughing all the way to the GW30 title was asif888 who takes top-spot with a clean 20pts. Nice.

GW31
In contrast to GW30, GW31 was a low-scoring affair. Sarri-ball, AJW, Ko NAY, Shinespark, sweetbluetoffee, Loud Atlas, bundeena bunnies, DMC shared third with 8pts, going one better for second it was Albox, PM, SomH3i, Leprechaun on 9pts and it was a similar-sized battle up top as GoalMachine, Silvers, pJlill and Elle going toe-to-toe for first with 10pts a-piece. Goal Machine was Ultimately victorious with their FGS prediction just 11 minutes out from the actual.

GW32

This week’s podium was a lot less crowded. fotisbaxes, AJW, Booty01, mahelmy, Stone Frog did make the third place look hotly contested with 11pts each, but in second it was clear cut with OddDane on 12pts. A similar story in first where RafflesHotspur scored 13pts to take the glory.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded t-shirt.

• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).
