It’s now 4 red arrows on the bounce, 10 in 26. We’re kind of used to it now. If we’ve learned one thing this season, it’s that there isn’t a one size fits all approach to FPL. Our Approach this season is no different to last year where we finished 4k, nor the season before where we ended up at 297k. Dems the breaks.

I’m not going to bother telling you about where it went right and where it went wrong, the team is below, you’re all engaged managers so you can probably work it out! What I will say is that the site team is much like my own team most weeks – conservative. However, I can be reckless, and sometimes being reckless pays off.

We’re very hit-averse with the site team, that proved highly beneficial last season, this season, with a new chip, managers have had to quickly adapt, making decisions on a whim without the benefit of historical data to back their decisions. For many, that has involved hits and playing on instinct. We’ve kept out powder dry and it’s hurt us. We did play our Tripple Captain in GW2, very unlike us. At the time is felt like the right call, when Salah hit 87pts in a DGW not so much.

So, we’ll carry on as we always had, we’ll play our chips when we feel like playing them and if it all ends up with a bad rank, so be it.

With 4 free transfers burning a hole in our pockets, we’re in a position to Shake things up. The problem is, we have no idea what we should do. Furthermore, Money is in short supply and unless we sell someone, that isn’t a situation we can do anything about. With Rogers injured our starting 11 is looking iffy, sure, we could let Robinson sub in, but not making a move feels like we really have accepted our fate.

A double transfer of Rogers and Mykolenko to Kudos and Tosin Adarabioyo was suggested, the move for Tosin used to free up the £0.1m were short on the straight swap of Rogers to Kudos. Both moves of course are very much speculating to accumulate, favourable fixtures for both this week, ignoring the fact one isn’t a guaranteed starter (Tosin) and the other hasn’t had a return in 9 weeks.
