Welcome to Barry and Paul’s Predictions GW17. Another week, another obscure first goal scorer. While most went with a Chelsea player and in most cases a Chelsea win, it was Marco Arnautovic who popped up to disappoint in the Hammers surprise 1-0 victory over Chelsea. Special mention to Swirly who did correctly predict a West Ham win! 8 of the 10 matches finished in a draw or a win by a 1 goal margin, Spurs 5-1 destruction of Stoke (thank you Harry!!) the only standout scoreline.

LAST WEEKS WINNERS!
Last week there was an administrative error in the counting department, thankfully Coys was very understanding (I bet Mito would have kicked right off) in pointing this out and the error was quickly rectified. I’m assured that no such error will be occurring this week. Clear winner (for now) is Pancho. Pancho finished the game-week on 11pts, just enough to secure top spot over 2nd placed Colriles and Obrigado who came in with a strong 10pts. And coming in one point behind them were Perun, The Padster and Micbarca10 with a solid 9pts. Thanks to everyone who entered, better luck next week everyone!

Rules & Scoring
The rules are few; 1 entry per person, and all entries must be submitted prior to the first game of the game-week. Kick-off this week comes on Tuesday at 19.45. Once all the games have been played, we’ll count up the scores and the winner(s) will be announced in the following weeks competition article.

Scoring –

Correct Score = 3 points

Correct result = 1 point

Correct First Game-week Goalscorer = 5pts

Points are awarded on an ‘either or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points or 1 point for a correct prediction, these are never added together for a 4 point score.

So just to recap all you need to do is copy and paste the fixtures from below, pop your score prediction on each and then tell us who you think will be the first goal scorer of the week. And that can be from any game regardless of your other predictions. Oh and if you say 1-0, you mean 1-0 to the home team. Not either team. Capiche?
