Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW5

Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Predictions GW5

It was one of those weekends where the Premier League appeared to take one look at everyone’s predictions and decide to cause as much damage as possible. Liverpool and Fulham played out a 0–0, Spurs and Everton clearly liked the idea and did exactly the same, Chelsea and Hull shared four goals, Ipswich won 3–2 at Palace, Brighton absolutely battered Coventry 5–0 and Leeds decided that a 4–1 win over Newcastle was the most normal result of the lot. Predict that lot correctly and you probably deserve more than three points.

Loud Atlas takes the honours in GW4 with 13 points, finishing just one clear of GoalMachine, nathc168 and Stone Frog, who all ended the week on 12.

Loud Atlas’ winning score included an exact Bournemouth 2–2 Brentford prediction, alongside a number of correct results, before correctly backing Rogers as the First Goalscorer for the extra five points.

There were plenty of other strong scores too, with AJW, constantine, OddDane, PottyPlatini, redmecca and sweetbluetoffee all reaching 9 points. Rogers scored the first goal of the Gameweek in the 7th minute, with sweetbluetoffee coming particularly close on the tie-break prediction after going for the 8th minute.

Many congratulations to Loud Atlas! Please email us here: contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize.

Overall League Table

THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… scoring couldn’t be much simpler:

• Correct Score —> 3 points;
• Correct Result —> 1 point; and
• Correct First Goalscorer of the Gameweek —> 5 points.

To clarify, this is who you think will score the first goal of the entire Gameweek, not just in any given match that you choose to pick yourself!

Points above are awarded on an ‘either / or’ basis, so you’ll either score 3 points for a Correct Score or just 1 point for a Correct Result, and these are never added together for a 4-point score.

Tie-Breaker: in the event of 2+ entrants being tied as winners for the Gameweek, the overall winner of the weekly prize will be decided by a tie-breaker. In order to do this, we ask that you also post your prediction for the time at which the first goal of the Gameweek will be scored. Nearest the pin wins!

The Rules… 1 entry per person and all entries must be submitted prior to the first match of the Gameweek. Once all the matches have been played, we’ll calculate the scores, and the winner(s) will be announced in the following Gameweek’s competition article: each winner will walk away with an FF247-branded prize..

So, to recap, all that you need to do to play is:

• copy & paste the fixtures from below and pop your score prediction on each;
• tell us who you think will be the First Goalscorer of the Gameweek; and
• follow it with your guess for the time of this first goal (to give yourself a fighting chance in a tie-breaker situation).

Here are the fixtures; best of luck to you all!
