Best Fantasy League Strikers
Welcome to Best Fantasy League Strikers
The 19/20 Premier League season is just months old. Millions of armchair managers are determined to finish at the top of their respective fantasy leagues. However, it’s not easy. There are thousands of excellent teams out there. If you want to finish above them, you’ll need your forwards to score plenty of goals.
Freetips.com suggests that your forwards don’t need to cost a fortune. Like everyone else, you’re on a budget. It’s important to get the balance of your team right. What’s the point of having the most formidable goalscorer in the league if your backline is leaking goals every week?
Today, we want to share some of our fantasy league predictions with you. We’ll cover the best attacking players in the division, but we’ll also include some affordable players too. If you want to creep up the rankings, keep on reading.
Sergio Aguero – The Argentine is the most expensive striker for a reason. He hits the back of the net regularly. According to the Premier League fantasy football website, he’s selected in 29.4% of teams. That’s huge. What’s more, Man City will face Wolves, Crystal Palace, Aston Villa, and Southampton over the next few weeks. This could be a fruitful period if Aguero is in your squad.
Tammy Abraham – The 21-year-old England international has made a sensational start at Stamford Bridge. He’s scored goals against Wolves, Sheffield Utd, and Norwich so far. However, Abraham is also relatively cheap compared to Aguero, Aubameyang, and Kane. If the Chelsea striker can stay fit for the rest of the season, we’re expecting him to bag plenty of fantasy league points.
Teemu Pukki – Nobody could have predicted the impact that Teemu Pukki would have on the Premier League. As things stand, the Norwich forward is selected by a whopping 44.8% of managers. He’s racked up six goals and two assists so far. Furthermore, his goals have come against Liverpool, Newcastle, Chelsea, and Man City. This proves that he can do it against the best teams in the country.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – Arsenal’s striker is one of the most expensive players in the game. However, that’s because he’s consistent. Aubameyang has scored six times already this season. We’re not expecting him to slow down anytime soon. The Gabon international is central to everything Arsenal do. If you can afford to put him in your team, we’d recommend doing so at the next available opportunity.
Harry Kane – England’s captain has proved that he can do it time and time again. What’s more, he scores at least one or two hattricks every season. This should grab you a handful of bonus points. If you deploy your triple captain bonus on Kane at the right time, you’ll shoot up the rankings. However, quality doesn’t come cheap. Tottenham’s leading goalscorer is the second most expensive striker.
Callum Wilson – Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson is the full package. He scores goals, grabs assists, and doesn’t cost a bomb. His only issue is that he can be injury-prone. However, if you catch him when he’s on form, he’ll score dozens of points for your team.
