Bundesliga Fantasy Football 2019/20
GW34 DEADLINE SATURDAY 27th June 2:30PM GMT
With the Bundesliga seemingly taking over the bulk of the chat on site (understandably, given as it’s the only game in town right now) we have decided to (tried to!) move the chat onto its own specific article to allow others space to chat about FPL, dandelions or whatever they wish elsewhere, so that they aren’t simply left muttering ‘Das ist mir Wurst’ to themselves all summer.
We will not do a fresh Live Match Chat for each week, we shall simply update this one as we go along with the latest deadlines and fixtures. We shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) has been temporarily handed over to Bundesliga.
Tips will be dispensed in the chat below (mainly by Mito we would imagine) but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.

The main inspiration for us creating a fresh FBL article was Ivan and his willingness to volunteer to create a fixture tracker to deal with the remaining games. Mito got his crayons out and helped fill it in. Many thanks to both.

No luck with the 2nd 3 either Mito. Timo/Sabitzer/a defender are up for the next 3 stars.

It must be some weird tradition in the Bundesliga, third round since we’ve started and 80% wins for the visitors every week :wacko:
Week where the big guns leave their guns at home. Dismal points and lots of changes to the team tomorrow.

It will take a lot of thinking tomorrow. I won’t be able to fit all players from the bench, unless gamble again :scratch_one-s_head:

You have to wait an hour before the first game to see the lineups. Then again, for the remaining 4 games. Don’t do any moves now in case a player is missing. Once the substitution is done, you can’t revert.
You’ll get the Leipzig/Hertha teams at 4.30pm.
All others at 6.30pm.

Have the fixtures in the Bundesliga mirrored the order of how they would have been played had the Covid pandemic not caused the postponement?

Indeed they are. There was a discussion in their planning that they did not want the Dortmund/Schalke derby as scheduled to be on the first weekend for fear that crowds may congregate being as it is the derby in Germany.
That was obviously allayed as it went ahead as intended so it is indeed being played in the order originally scheduled with two midweeks included to condense the full schedule.

Like most, we’re just doing what we can in an effort not to go crazy!
It will be interesting to see if the PL do likewise when they get to the stage where they are confirming fixtures.
For the sake of the integrity of the league I think it will.
i.e. you can see a relegated team bringing legal action if their immediate fixtures became ‘harder’ and that contributed to a lack of confidence which they couldn’t turn around and they’re adversely effected etc.
One thing this whole crisis has shown is that someone will find something to moan about.
From near the start I felt everyone would have to give up something and my opinion hasn’t changed.
