With the Bundesliga seemingly taking over the bulk of the chat on site (understandably, given as it’s the only game in town right now) we have decided to (tried to!) move the chat onto its own specific article to allow others space to chat about FPL, dandelions or whatever they wish elsewhere, so that they aren’t simply left muttering ‘Das ist mir Wurst’ to themselves all summer.

We will not do a fresh Live Match Chat for each week, we shall simply update this one as we go along with the latest deadlines and fixtures. We shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) has been temporarily handed over to Bundesliga.

Tips will be dispensed in the chat below (mainly by Mito we would imagine) but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.

Bundesliga Fixture Tracker
The main inspiration for us creating a fresh FBL article was Ivan and his willingness to volunteer to create a fixture tracker to deal with the remaining games. Mito got his crayons out and helped fill it in. Many thanks to both.

      We have the same GK but there are rumours that Schubert will be replaced by Nubel. So, we are left with Kastenmeier :blink:

      Then again, there’s a lot of FBL players I have yet to discover. smile

        • Bees, Bayern play the late game. Don’t you have anyone else from the four fixtures before that? I have to decide betwenn Baumgartner and Steffen.

        • Here are my bunch of beauties Ivan. Only other is Nkunku who plays after Gnabry. More concerned if it is worth giving up Havertz points and then getting nothing…though you would think Gnabry would score???

          Tricky with your two…Baumgartner slighter better I think. But, it is worth giving up Havertz points is the question? I would be leary, but I know you are the brave one.

        • Well, it’s only a 5 points stake and I am prepared to risk it on one of these two before it goes to Gnabry. After all, we said that this is only a drill. Trying and learning, to be ready for the next season smile

        • You are right Ivan…good practice. It will be interesting to start BL from the beginning of season. Playing both leagues will take one hell of a lot of time though. It may make do my head in :wacko:
          Have fun!

      • Nah, you just concentrate on the main FPL and do the FBL between. I used to do it with MLS and UCL. Some people say that is destructing bit it’s not. Just a bit of extra fun and more brain exercise.

      I didn’t take up the initial offer of playing Bundesliga Fantasy.

      Lockdown and the return of TV football caused me to throw a team together.

      I’ve loved it. The game itself is brilliant. Great scoring potential/multiple captains/brilliant app.

      I’ll definitely be playing next season.

      Looking forward to FPL though.

        Like the 3 tfs per gwk and the stars system,
        Really nice slick interface as well ,
        Gives you more to tinker with between gwks
        Would like to see some of these aspects included in FPL
