Bundesliga Fantasy Football 2019/20
GW34 DEADLINE SATURDAY 27th June 2:30PM GMT
With the Bundesliga seemingly taking over the bulk of the chat on site (understandably, given as it’s the only game in town right now) we have decided to (tried to!) move the chat onto its own specific article to allow others space to chat about FPL, dandelions or whatever they wish elsewhere, so that they aren’t simply left muttering ‘Das ist mir Wurst’ to themselves all summer.
We will not do a fresh Live Match Chat for each week, we shall simply update this one as we go along with the latest deadlines and fixtures. We shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) has been temporarily handed over to Bundesliga.
Tips will be dispensed in the chat below (mainly by Mito we would imagine) but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.

The main inspiration for us creating a fresh FBL article was Ivan and his willingness to volunteer to create a fixture tracker to deal with the remaining games. Mito got his crayons out and helped fill it in. Many thanks to both.

The FA cup QF are now scheduled, will be interesting to see if we still have a short and therefore double game weeks.
I think that most likely, games cancelled by FA cup fixtures will be rescheduled to the next (or previous) midweek.
And each full midweek will be a separate GW to those played at the weekend.
So I’m expecting 8 SGW of 10 games and only the first week being a double (x4 teams)

Btw can you alternate stars between matches on the same day as long as they don’t clash.?
You can move a star onto any player whos match hasn’t kicked off.
e.g. I’ve taken mine off Havertz onto Brekala this afternoon and if he fails I’ll move it to my Bayern mid later.

I think he was the most transferred in player for this round. I almost went for him but then settled with Hazard
Was he? I had no idea haha it was really 50/50 with Ibisevic so obviously I guessed wrong. Brandt was my Dortmund replacement. He may not score of course but ever since the Bundesliga started I couldn’t wait to get him in, have liked him for years.
I hadn’t paid too much attention to Brandt until lately, I like his game, he is more creative than I anticipated.
Yep, he was recommended as the best replacement for Haaland at front. I suppose it was because of the price, it would have given you more flexibility if you needed to sort out midfield.
I am about to gamble 5 points from Havertz.

That said, Steffen is on 13/7/13 and Frankfurt are the worst team on the road. Hmmm, maybe I should switch :blink:
Dan, after all moved the star to Steffen. Not sure if Baumgartner will be lucky in this game. Mainz have won the last two meetings 5-1 and 4-2
As expected, Nubel starts instead of Schubert. Not surprisingly, haven’t won a game for ages and shipped 13 goals in the last 5 games.
Not since the days of Davidovic have I seen anyone comparable.

15 mins and Schalke can’t get out, 80% possession for Bremen herr Wagner..
All games are too slow. I suppose is the no crowd factor. Expect the same in the PL when season restart next month.
Sheer amount of subs doesn’t exactly help the flow, it’s like watching a Sven friendly. The Mainz game saw almost a quarter of all players replaced at HT.
That is exactly what is gonna happen over here. The FPL should change the rules just for the remaining of the season. All points from the bench to be included in the scoring :yes:
