With the Bundesliga seemingly taking over the bulk of the chat on site (understandably, given as it’s the only game in town right now) we have decided to (tried to!) move the chat onto its own specific article to allow others space to chat about FPL, dandelions or whatever they wish elsewhere, so that they aren’t simply left muttering ‘Das ist mir Wurst’ to themselves all summer.

We will not do a fresh Live Match Chat for each week, we shall simply update this one as we go along with the latest deadlines and fixtures. We shall endeavour to post the line-ups prior to each phase of the relevant GW and our usual FPL Countdown Timer (to be found above the latest comments section) has been temporarily handed over to Bundesliga.

Tips will be dispensed in the chat below (mainly by Mito we would imagine) but feel free to get involved in said chat, whether that’s asking for advice or answering others.

The main inspiration for us creating a fresh FBL article was Ivan and his willingness to volunteer to create a fixture tracker to deal with the remaining games. Mito got his crayons out and helped fill it in. Many thanks to both.

  1. Anyone having trouble accessing the FBL site?
    The home page works fine but the fantasy footy page just keeps crashing?
    Got 3 TFs to do with a couple of hours left :rant:

  2. The request was about FBL and meant to be on here :wacko:
    Mito, can you throw few quick ideas please. I will be busy later and need to do everything withing an hour.

    • I brought in Lewy, Halland and a Wolf defender one because he was at the price point I needed, but also because it allowed me to have someone from the first game.

      Seems like both kicker and Bundesliga are predicting Nkuku will not start. There seems to be some thought that Hazard will be dropped from the XI.

      Frankfurt in that stand alone fixture seems a decent bet. I have Kostic, but Silva or Kamada for those looking for cheaper options could be good options. Goretzka keeps producing for Bayern, not explosive returns, but seems around 10 points every game.

      Hard to ignore Dortmund, Bayern and RBL with them fixtures this GW, but in the more value area Frankfurt and possibly Union could get some decent points. Plus Frankfurt’s fixtures sees them finish off with Koln and Paddy, so them players could be the kind of players you will want to keep until the end.

        Have 7.8 ITB, enough to bring Lewa back for Hazard which was my idea all along. Luthe and Kastenmeier are playing in the same time slot, so maybe some other cheap GK. Need to get a midfielder as well for Mittelstadt. Paid 7.4 him last week and he didn’t show up.

        • Kamada is 7.4, could be an option. I probably would not bother with another keeper, but if you have a transfer to use up and don’t mind using up any budget (which I think you don’t have anyway) the Paddy or Union keeper play in a different time slot. But even if you had the budget I probably would not bother, as I rather keep that money in the bank to give me more options instead of tying up money and a future transfer in a keeper.

        • No, I just realised that both Jacobs and Katterbach are absent due to injury and on the top of that Mittelstadt is still injured. The other two transfers will go for defenders.
          Most likely cheap ones like Framberger and Nikhate :scratch_one-s_head:

        • I hate that Zirkzee is likely to not play much if at all. He has looked good in the time he has been given, maybe you will luck out and he gets a good run this week.

          With the league in the bag (almost) I think it’d be good

  3. Getting rid of Hazard and Nkunku for Lewa and Kainz. Leaves me 1 trsf when I have Schonlau, Lenz and Jakobs not starting.
    Tough stuff sad

    All games in the last two rounds will be played at the same time :yes:

    • Cheers didn’t realise that.
      Even more important to get nailed starters.
      Btw if a player then doesn’t start will auto subs kick in?

      • I don’t think there is an auto sub here. Once my GK didn’t play and forgot to sub in the other one. So, the auto didn’t happen.

          How is your team looking Ivan? Are they all fit and starting?

        • Hey bees, I managed to get rid of two injured ones but still have Katterbach. I had to use the third transfer on Hazard- Lewa move.

        • Hopefully you don’t have Werner?

        • Bees, I do have Werner and to make it worse Davies got a red card. Things don’t look bright :no:

    • No idea tbh. I’ve read that they give WC now and again when decide.
      Two rounds left, maybe they will surprise us in one of them :unknw:

      • Question…I have Schlotterbeck with 15 (star)…should I loose the 5 pts and put in Hakimi? Probably good against Mainz right?

        • Bees, if I had Hakimi in my team I would always put the star on him. He generates points regardless of the final score. Never manage to get him but he will be a priority for the next season.
