Bundesliga Fantasy Football 2023/24
With the Bundesliga also nearing a start we figured we give it a home again that way you Bundesliga managers have a home to discuss bad transfers and terrible captaincy choices.
We won’t be posting a weekly article, but we will keep this article up and though it will disappear from the front of the site, just use the “Hot Topics” link on the right to find your way back to this chat.
We will do our best to post relevant tweets and links to pages that are helpful in fantasy on the chat below so you all have the best possible help.
Bundesliga Fantasy rules changes season- 2024/25
Unlike previous seasons, now you can select only 3 players from each team. That shouldn’t be a great shock as we are well used in the FPL.
New points system goes huge:
80 points for a goal from a forward, 100 for a midfielder and 120 for a defender. Wait, a massive 200 points if somehow your goalkeeper scores. Assists are rewarded from 40 to 150 points, depending on position. Penalty saves get 120, bonuses of 20 for a brace and 60 for a hatrick are added too.
For a first time, dribble earns you 5 points, challenge won, either on the air or the ground, gets 5 points as well. Every successful cross brings 7 points and 1 for every successful pass.
On the flipside:
Deduction of 20 points for a yellow card, get a second one and it’s another – 60. Miss a spot kick is -60, scoring an own goal -80, every foul prompts 5 and a massive -100 for a strait red card.

I went for him. Don’t expect a CS but for the next few weeks should be OK.
Sommer is too expensive and don’t want to dissemble my entire team a few minutes before the deadline.

Missed the deadline…in nick of the time, called for an emergency meeting (which went on and on) unexpectedly. Massive drop in rank…..will drop even more.
Somehow has only 11 players.
It happens unfortunately. I’ve missed two deadlines earlier in the seson.
I’m the king of missing deadlines. This new year I already missed 3.
HOORAY. Had a top 100k ranking, now outside top 400k I think. 
If u have installed the Bundesliga fantasy app, it will pop up reminders on your phone. I also initially didn’t know there was midweek games.
If u use laptop or just the website, then u need to manually check of course if any midweek games
Of course keep on silva. I didn’t put him and went with double bayern forwards and szobosolai to get leipzig cover who all produced nothing much.
Yes, I kept it on Silva. Another poor performance from Bayern. I have Kimmich who is on 15 points but might gamble 5 points with one from Lindstrom, Hofmann or Wirtz. Thinking to keep the 18 points from Davis, although Frimpong is tempting against Bochum at home.
All the Bayern players who got 90 minutes game time only got 1 point for minutes played. I sent a message to the contact last night,but no change yet. I have Kimmy and Upmechano starred with Sommer in goal so maybe 5 points due.
Kruz, that is very strange. I have Kimmich with the star and the points were there straight after the game.

If you check all your Bayern players they will show the same 1 point for minutes played. I don’t know if Mussy and Choups got the required minutes but the others did.
I remember this happening once before and that involved Bayern as well.

Yes, that’s weird. It shuld be 2 points for each after playing over 70 min. Let’s hope they correct this after the tonight’s scores. So much for the famous German efficiency
