Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW13. With the quick turnaround, we’ll keep things short and sweet this week and dive straight into the winners! First place in last weeks predictions was a tie between Shinespark and Hammerfan who both netted 10pts. Whilst Shinespark guessed first goal scorer Klich, his prediction of the 49th minute was not as close as Hammerfan’s 12th-minute prediction, which was enough to seal the deal for him. Our very own master of mischief Mito grabbed the third spot with 9pts. Notable mentions to M.Salah, Mahelmy, Redmen, Treacle, Frenchie and Igy who all came close to the podium with 8pts. And so; Many Congratulations to Hammerfan. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.u...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW12. Crystal Palace’s 1-5 win away to West Brom was the only match to break too far away from the expected norm. We had the usual smattering of 2-1’s (although both technically 1-2’s), just three clean sheets (the usual suspects in City, Liverpool and Spurs) and just a solitary draw (Burnley v Everton). So, how did this week’s predictions go? Matt tells me that it was a battle to the death (or words to that effect) between Jamie Mc, Gear, Pjlill, Mosc, MBD, and Ivan who all scored 12pts. No one correctly predicted this week’s FGS (understandable as it was Robbie Brady) However MDB did correctly predict that it would come in the 3rd minute and takes top-spot...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW11. It’s only taken 10 weeks but I think we can finally say with confidence that results have returned to the mean. 2-1 is a classic scoreline and normally the safest prediction in any given match, this week we had three of them. Throw in a 1-1, a couple of 1-0’s and the annual Man City 5 Burnley 0 and things look positively, well, normal. This week we have our first Covid Postponement, Villa v Newcastle as of now is no longer a part of GW11. Should it be moved to next week (and still fall within GW11) by all means predict the score, but it won’t be counted towards this week’s totals. On to the Winners. Top-spot this week is IzzatAziz with a very impressive 16pt...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW10. As the weeks progress the scores seem to continually revert to the mean. This week was no different. No team scored more than 3 goals and those crazy scorelines that will forever be synonymous with lockdown will soon be a thing of the past, much like Zoom calls, hand sanitizer and working in your kecks. I digress. The winner is our very own Kop, topping the table with a not so unlucky 13pts. Pushing him close this week are Mosc, Basic and Pjlill who all finished up on 12pts in second place. Sadly no one got FGS which wasn’t all that surprising really (Fernandez OG). As you’ll see below, after many requests we have the return of the league table. We’ve had a few is...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW9. Villa winning 0-3 at the Emirates, and Palace scoring 4 were the only real shockers in terms of results in GW8. Meanwhile, it’s been a lonnnnnnng international break, punctuated with made-up injuries and so many positive Covid tests that even a drive to Barnard Castle will likely not be enough this time. If only there were a way to reduce these Covid infections that result from footballers travelling thousands of miles around the world during a global pandemic. I digress. This weeks winner is Tornado with 13pts, pipping JamieMc, Coys and Perun by just a solitary point. A special mention to the roughly 50% of you who picked up 9 points this week, although I didn’t so IR...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW8. A quick glance at last weeks results and there’s definitely an air of, dare I say it… predictability about those final scorelines. That, of course, doesn’t tell the full story, it rarely does. However, we’re not focussed on the detail here, just cold hard results. Even Arsenal’s victory at Old Trafford does not seem out of place given the recent performances of the lacklustre Red Devils. Elsewhere there were a glut of home wins, with Leicester’s 1-4 victory at Elland Road the only other surprising result, but even then, is it? Whilst yours truly is still failing miserably week in week out both here and at the Bookies (please gamble responsibly kids...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW7. Whisper it quietly, but things may be getting back to normal. Not in the real world of course, no no, the crazies still run the asylum, Karen still thinks 2 metres is significantly larger than reality and all the scientists in the world can’t seem to figure out why Covid cases are once more on the rise (I’ll give you a clue, it has something to do with education). I digress. When I say normal, I refer of course to the results of the Premier League. Following last weeks’ first 0-0 of the season, we now have another (hurrah), and with it came 1-1’s and 2-1’s with only Leeds pushing the boundaries with a 0-3. As expected this has seen scores here once more ...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW6. West Brom 0 Burnley 0. After 5 weeks we finally have our first 0-0 of the season, a glimmer of normality at long last. The weekend results as a whole did carry a semblance of this normality; a few 1-0 wins, a couple of 1-1 draws, so who knows, maybe things are finally settling down. Onto the results. This week our winner is Turbo who smashed in a whopping 15pts thanks in no small part in his prediction of Mane for FGS. He wasn’t the only one to do so, special shoutouts to Padster, Redmen and Sweetbluetoffee. However, it was our very own Matt with 14pts who snatched 2nd this week, so close my friend. Bringing up the rear in 3rd place were Hammerfan, Mosc, Sarri-ball and RafflesH...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW5. It’s just getting silly now. The Manchester and Liverpool results in GW4 proved once again how increasingly difficult this predicting lark is this season, more so than ever before. It was another low scoring week which is no real surprise. Sarriball was the only one to correctly predicted Chilwell as the first goalscorer which netted him 10pts and top-spot for the week. Loud Atlas grabbed a strong 9pts but they were only enough to see him slot into second. Third place was shared by too many to mention who all grabbed 8pts. And so; Many Congratulations to Sarriball. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… S...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW4. Football has changed, it was inevitable really. The lack of fans has meant home advantage is no longer such an important factor, 6 away wins in 10 fixtures this weekend only serves to strengthen that belief. We already had VAR to contend with, throw in the new rules with regards to handballs in the box ‘ and our beautiful game’ is fast becoming anything but. If you’re doing well in this competition well done, but let’s be honest, when it comes to predicting the actual scores, you’re just as likely to get it right if you roll a dice. Amongst all this madness it’s perhaps unsurprising that once again our chief mischief-maker Mito is leading the charg...[Read More]

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3

Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3 Welcome to Harry and Lloyd’s Fantasy Predictions GW3. The staples for a good week in this competition are lots of 2-1 and 1-1 all results. No surprise then that a game week that saw two 5-2 results and no less than five away wins resulted in a low-scoring week. Indeed, only 6 people out of 70 entrants broke into double-digit territory. Our very own master of mischief Mito topped the scoring with a whopping 14pts, closely followed by Perun (12pts) with a tie in third for Ko Nay and Newo who both picked up 11pts. And so; Many Congratulations to Mito. Please email us here; contact@fantasyfootball247.co.uk to claim your prize. THIS WEEK’S COMPETITION… Scoring couldn’t be simpler: Correct Score = 3 points Correct result = 1 point...[Read More]
