Our Gameweek 13 Result
Another red arrow… 3 in a row that’s now 8 of those in total and just the 4 green ones. Not good! A score of 59 was 1 below the average and saw us plunge even further to 4.2m odd, a drop of another 300k or so.
Looking for some positives, we were mocked on the chat (by one of our own committee!) for having a ‘power midfield’. Granted, there was no Saka but the rest got 43 between them, which was a good portion of our overall total. The only one who didn’t bring home any bacon was Mbeumo, and Brentford hit 4, with no involvement from him. Just plain unlucky.
Other than Kerkez (7) the rest were pretty woeful.
We left Larsen stranded on the bench with 11. Which feels a bit daft now.
Not as daft as our captain pick of Joao Pedro…

We have £1.1mln in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of Gameweek 14. Let’s go see what was decided.

A combination of a good looking team (in theory), the quick turnaround in games and the thought process that we’ve tried everything this season except nothing has led us to save our free transfer. Therefore we’ll store one up and again roll the FPL dice which seem somewhat loaded against us this season. Marone!

The fixture, the form… we just got to hope he isn’t rested in what is their easiest away fixture of the season. We have no insider knowledge on this one, only that we know we would regret not having him as captain if he did start. Salah will pick up the slack if the worst happens.
