Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog Awards. Last chance to vote!
As we are sure you are by now aware FF247 have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Best FPL Football Blog Awards (FBA). The finals take place on November 13th at the National Football Museum in Manchester. Voting closes this Friday and it is a close run thing so far so this is our last plea for more votes! We would dearly love to bring home an award for you all as a thank you for your following and dedication. We are under no illusions that the competition is strong and we are honoured to have even made it this far in our first year but with your help you just never know. Details of how to vote follow below and the main message here is that if you have already voted in the first round of voting you need to do so again as votes were reset for the finals.

We would like to thank all our members for being such a huge part of the site – without you we are nothing. We have always aimed to make FF247 a community site, a fun site as well, of course, and an essential all round tool for FPL managers. It is your involvement, comments, banter and engagement that ultimately has pushed FF247 into the realms of being nominated for awards such as this.
So we thank you deeply and look forward to a bigger, better, funnier future together!
Finally, we would like to ask that you vote for us in the hope that little old FF247 may just upset some of the more established names that we are up against. Clearly our age will not make it easy for us to win against other sites that have been around for years, but you know us, we’ll give it a go. Every vote counts.
Voting is very straightforward – all you need to is click on the link below, either taking you to the FBA site or through the twitter button.
In case you’re thinking, “I’ve already voted”, then firstly thanks, it’s your votes that have been responsible for us being nominated but as we say that was for the first round so please make sure you vote again.
If you’re on twitter, then this is the most simple method.
Voting via the FBA site link involves about about two minutes more of your time! Just click this link (or the red ‘tweet your vote’ button above), enter your details and under “categories”, click the FPL drop down menu and you will see Fantasy Football 247 appear. Simply highlight us and click “Vote Now” – you will be sent an email which you will need to confirm your vote.
The FF247 team will be attending the event itself and we will be sure to post pics on here and via twitter of what will surely be a fantastic night out regardless of the results! Tickets are on general sale as well so if anyone fancies it please feel free to come but be sure to let us know so that so we can include you in our party!
Thanks again for your time, patience and support!

Hey guys, is it possible to make a league this late in the season? I started playing at GW8.. I kind of want to make one and invite people.
Yeah you can make one at any time. You can also make it start counting from GW8 on or whatever week you choose.
Yeah! thanks!
Guys suggestions needed.Does it need any changes.Have 2FT and 0.0 itb.
Devilred – your team is looking solid. I would and am going to myself, going to get rid of Forster in the coming weeks because of Southampton’s bad run of fixtures. I would suggest either Adrian or Courtois. A downgrade of Sigurdsson to Downing would help getting Courtois. But first I would downgrade Welbeck to Sakho (if he’s declared fit, so wait).
Forster is good for 2 GW then i am dumping him for adrian.Dnt knw if i should make any changes for this GW bt dnt what to waste my Ft either.
@devilred, keep your eye on West Ham before you make that move. Despite their league standing, they are tied for last in clean sheets in the EPL. Their future fixtures look good, but their defence has been anything but great so far.
Thanks for ur suggestions mito.Yeah have to keep an eye on their defense bt their fixtures r easier than the others.
Oh it worked!!!
I created a classic one (counts score from GW8 –> GW38) and an H2H one (starts at GW11).
Classic: Clash of the bros, code: 3293687-708306
H2H: Bro vs Bro, code: 3293687-708308
PLEASE JOIN BROS, OR ARE YOU TOO SCARED?!?!?
Hey Cody we will all be playing catch up Cody if we join this but hey lets have a go
Thanks for joining Silver haha, I like being chased!
Cody
Thanks, I’ve joined the classic league. Can’t join the head-2-head as I’m at my maximum 15 leagues.
Gallant – Thanks man that’s alright!
Joined the head to head Cody! Thanks for the advice last week, bringing in Chambers and Sanchez paid off!
Thank you igy yeah it really did – you’re welcome dude!
Joined both
Yay thank you Wafflez!
joined. Thanks Cody. Is there any other H2H leagues that I can join?
Thanks iqbal
It looks like Ivan going Down tonight & Siggy tm not good
Not sure why your post made me think of this…. But, i wonder if there was ever a weekend where Downing went up and Upson went down?
Wierd.
re: Downing/Upson.
I believe something fitting this description was uploaded as part of The Fappening.
I know what it was…. Yesterday there was an NFL first…. A pass was tipped by a MacDonald and caught by a MacDougal. First time ever apparently True story.
Sterling’s price is dropping faster than a piano out of a tower block window.
Anyone think Sterling > Downing is a good move?
Or would you rather get Chandli?
Would go with downing at the minute.he is in form.
photek – I would go for Downing mate. Both are scoring similarly but Downing is a good amount cheaper.
Cheers guys, I nearly did Sterling > Downing on Sunday morning I was so done with him, wish I did, I would’ve had 0.3m more for him
Did it last night to avoid further price drops.
RMT Please Had A Crap Week Only 57 PTS Anyway would you take 8 PTS HIT ..?
Hazard out Sanchez in
Welbeck out Sakho in
Forster
Baines,Wisdom,Duff
Hazard,Mane,Downing,Di Maria
Aguero,Pelle,Welbeck
Wouldn’t take a hit, hold the transfer and maybe next week.don’t think Sanchez and sakho will outscore haz and wellbeck this week by alot.
Jeet above avg score although I felt the same 59 points I wouldnt take a 8 point hit Haz could well outscore San nk wk both in CL action this wk hold off if you can unless your tight for cash & see Sanchez as better option
Not worth a -8, Jeet.
Jeet
Don’t panic. That’s not a bad score.
I wouldn’t take it your only Chelsea coverage. If Sanchez was to come in I’d be more inclined to lose ADM for him.
Cheers Guys thanks for the advise i’ll wait after the champion league games before i’ve make my transfers !
Jeet – I know it’s tempting to make those changes, but with Sanchez meeting Swansea and Sakho not declared fit yet I wouldn’t make those transfers. Not even if the hit wasn’t involved, but especially not when it is involved. Hazard is fantastic and Welbeck isn’t worse than an injured Sakho.
