Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog Awards. Last chance to vote!

Fantasy Football 247 at the Football Blog AwardsAs we are sure you are by now aware FF247 have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Best FPL Football Blog Awards (FBA). The finals take place on November 13th at the National Football Museum in Manchester. Voting closes this Friday and it is a close run thing so far so this is our last plea for more votes! We would dearly love to bring home an award for you all as a thank you for your following and dedication. We are under no illusions that the competition is strong and we are honoured to have even made it this far in our first year but with your help you just never know. Details of how to vote follow below and the main message here is that if you have already voted in the first round of voting you need to do so again as votes were reset for the finals.

[clear]

tweetvoteWe would like to thank all our members for being such a huge part of the site – without you we are nothing. We have always aimed to make FF247 a community site, a fun site as well, of course, and an essential all round tool for FPL managers. It is your involvement, comments, banter and engagement that ultimately has pushed FF247 into the realms of being nominated for awards such as this.

So we thank you deeply and look forward to a bigger, better, funnier future together!
Finally, we would like to ask that you vote for us in the hope that little old FF247 may just upset some of the more established names that we are up against. Clearly our age will not make it easy for us to win against other sites that have been around for years, but you know us, we’ll give it a go. Every vote counts.

Voting is very straightforward – all you need to is click on the link below, either taking you to the FBA site or through the twitter button.
In case you’re thinking, “I’ve already voted”, then firstly thanks, it’s your votes that have been responsible for us being nominated but as we say that was for the first round so please make sure you vote again.

If you’re on twitter, then this is the most simple method.

Voting via the FBA site link involves about about two minutes more of your time! Just click this link (or the red ‘tweet your vote’ button above), enter your details and under “categories”, click the FPL drop down menu and you will see Fantasy Football 247 appear. Simply highlight us and click “Vote Now” – you will be sent an email which you will need to confirm your vote.

The FF247 team will be attending the event itself and we will be sure to post pics on here and via twitter of what will surely be a fantastic night out regardless of the results! Tickets are on general sale as well so if anyone fancies it please feel free to come but be sure to let us know so that so we can include you in our party!

Thanks again for your time, patience and support!

All at Fantasy Football 247.

    Afternoon all,

Sorry for the repost -i had originally put this on the older thread by mistake.

Do you think its safe to say that S Taylor is now part of the 1st choice CB pairing for newcastle?

Since he has come in to the team they have tightened up & had a few CS

At 3.9 he could be a bargin

West Ham United boss Sam Allardyce has revealed that Diafra Sakho is expected to be back in action this weekend after recovering from a shoulder injury.

“We think Sakho will be back for the next game,” he told the club’s official website. “We don’t think the shoulder is going to be too long.

“There’s no dislocation; it’s a cartilage problem so it’s bruised and the pain is still pretty tender but it’s getting better every day and hopefully he’ll be back for Aston Villa. If not, we have to cope with it and after that it’s the international break.”

    DAMMIT STERLING!!!!!!!!
I was all poised to do a cheeky Walcott and Boyd in for Sterling and King…. Guess what? Stupid Sterling drops 0.2 since Sat (could have been fine for 0.1m…)
    What should I do now??
    Krul (Heaton)
    Wisdom Bertrand Baines (Moore, N.Taylor)
Sterling Di Maria Siggy Chadli (King)
    Costa Aguero C Pelle V
    1 FT and 0.2m itb

Can get Walcott in but for a 8 point hit (really dont want to though)
Is Sterling really that much of a sinking ship??

Don’t waste the free transfer. For me Sterling and siggy are a problem as they just aren’t getting the points and liverpool have been awful. Also i’d be looking to get rid of mannone at some point especially if he doesn’t start tonight but you have krul so thats not a priority.I’d be changing my formation to 3-4-3 and playing Welbeck over Trippier aswell.Always play a striker over a defender unless he’s injured or the defender is Baines 😉

      • MattX says:

Well with Sturridge flying with the team to Madrid it seems he is coming back Sterling could fly back into form again so might keep him for a bit. Was going to play Trippier over Welbeck because Burnley are playing Hull so hopefully he will get a clean sheet
