Fantasy Football 247 League Updates September

Fantasy Football 247 leaguesHello everyone and welcome to the September round up of the FF247 leagues. So how did everyone do this month? Injuries were more common than a scouser in a car park and managers were dreading to be the first one to get the bullet, so lets see who managed to steer their teams through the mine field that is fantasy football and top our compliment of leagues. Any successful managers will be added to our Hall of Fame which is coming soon.

FF247 League
Fantasy Football 247 leaguesTop spot in this league has stayed with Tom Farmer, who was also top in August with his team ‘Blame It On Debuchy’. Tom had amassed 394 points up to the end of September and was sitting pretty in 6th overall in the world, keep up the good work Tom. (The pic above includes this weeks scores that include week 1 from October). 2nd spot goes to Gerrie Pistorius, with his team ‘Pick_And_Hope’ on 387pts, and that points haul took him to 27th in the world. A further 6pts back in 3rd with 381 is team ‘Societa Esportive77’ and owner Boblewo-Garutti Brasil, who has also stuck around in the top 5 for 2 months. 4th place goes to Jaye Williams with his team ‘FC Yayunomi’ on 379 pts. In 5th, a further 5pts back with 374,was Hammad Mudassar and his team ‘Fantastic 11’.

FF247 Manager Of The Month
Fantasy Football 247 leaguesTop spot for September goes to A Khan with his team ‘Disneyland’, he managed to achieve 190pts from only 3 gameweeks, this score had also propelled him to 44th in the FF247 league. Ivan Bosnjak with his team ‘Leafs FC’ pushed for top spot all the way but finished just 1pt behind to take 2nd place with 189pts. Konrad Wojtowicz and Richard Prowse came in with 187pts to tie for 3rd spec with their respective teams ‘Gooners FC’ and ‘Tinkerman United’. 5th place went to Richard Jagers team ‘Wolf Pack’ with 185pts.

FF247 Doubles League
Fantasy Football 247 leaguesThe overall positions in this league are changing every gameweek and top spot at the end of September goes to Timmy + Cartman, alias our Colombian friend Mito + his sidekick Suarez, with their team ‘We Will Bite You’ and a respectable haul of 339pts, NZ Alex + Peaky Dave fought tooth and nail to reach 1st place but just failed finishing 2nd by 1pt on a total of 338. 3rd spot went to an unknown entity, Mr + Mrs Facepalm, with their team ‘No Hope Bob Hope’ who since the start of the season have been slowly picking up momentum to achieve 335pts. Last seasons champions Aditupem have dropped from 1st to 4th place with 330pts. In 5th spec are the up + coming FF247 article writers Calvin + Chins, they appear to have dropped off the pace a bit on 319pts with their team ‘Belly + Clyne’ but will probably blame it on their time writing superb articles rather than amassing points.

Well folks that’s it for September, so congratulations to everyone mentioned. Don’t forget there are only 3 gameweeks in October as we have another international break. Good luck to all for the next month, especially young Tom Farmer, keep the flag flying for FF247 with that high overall ranking.

  1. Afternoon all.

This is how my team looks currently

I cant decide between bringing Welbeck in for Ulloa with my FT or shiftingit around a bit to get baines in which would take a -8 hit. The transfers for this would be Ulloa to Sakho, larsson to Boyd & Dummet to Baines.

I happy with taking the -8, as i think for Baines its justified, however cant decide if its a better option overall than bringing in Danny boy.

    Any help appreciated

    Cheers

  2. Dummie injury, just f-ing genius. >.<

    • IB not even started yet. How do they f-ing do that? >.<

    • its not unusal for players to be injured around an IB but thats normally when its some meaningless friendly.

  3. The world seems to be gone Baines mad!!

    • That’s what missing a penalty can do for your appeal Kop, imagine if he’d actually scored it! On that point it wasn’t a great pen but if you look back (this is apropos of nothing by the way!) then his pens generally aren’t great he just tends to send the keeper the wrong way, Sunday was an accident waiting to happen but hopefully a one-off. I’d take him over Ivan personally but who knows…

    • I agree Kop, i don’t see why i’d want to get rid of my mids or a in form striker for Baines.
I appreciate Baines is good but his not worth taking a hit or weakening other areas for imo

  4. hi guys struggling where to use my 2FT any help would be appreciated I have 0.2 mil in the bank.
Was thinking of getting rid of schneiderlin but not sure.

  5. 1 FT and 2.2 mil in bank

    Mannone Krul
Trippier Clyne Pieters ( Wisdom and Taylor )
Fabregas Di Maria Sterling Siggurdsson ( King )
    D.Costa Dzeko Welbeck

What, if anything should I do?

    • Hi Mattx

Would downgrading Pieters to say, Hutton combined with what you have in the bank, allow you to get Aguero in for Dzeko?

      • Yeah I had Hutton in before so you think I should take the hit and make both this week?

        • MattX

Unless money is tight (ie. less than 0.2 million to spare), then I would suggest to hold off on the transfers and do them for the following week.

This way you would have Hutton available for QPR rather than Everton and Aguero playing West Ham and you wouldn’t suffer a hit.

        • Good plan cheers mate that helps

  6. Afternoon ladies and gents.Want to just get my transfer done so I can relax instead of fretting every hour for the next fortnight! Anyone WCing?

    • CC

Hi mate. My WC is long since expired . . .

I am however contemplating an early move or moves. What are you thinking?

      • Alright Gallant mate. It’s likely to be either Ulloa to Welbeck or a defender to Baines. I’m not sure which defender though.. I even considered it to be Bartley haha but that would be too much spent on defence and wouldn’t let me get Welbeck.

Tbh I’ll probably just get Welbeck and worry about which defender to drop next GW instead. I know most will probably suggest Lovren to go, but they were unlucky not to keep a couple of CSs lately and have good fixtures so not sure..

What move are you thinking of making?

        • CC

I think Welbeck in is quite wise.

I’m thinking as you may have alreday read below, Moreno out for Azpilicueta and carrying on a transfer.

        • Sound move GP. I’ve been amazed at the lack of Luis playing all of this time, but looks like Jose won’t be fixing what isn’t broken.

    • I’ve already used my WC mate so I don’t think I’m any help to you

    • Calvin – Haha, i hear you buddy 😉 Really want to make my transfer now too but there’s not much point unless the old £’s are really tight. I’ve got a 0.3m buffer so i’m going to wait. Ulloa -> Welbeck for me too. Not the transfer i had in mind but it’s the best that can be done i’m afraid. Hopefully he does the business.
