Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 10
Welcome to the Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 10 article. GW9 was one of the dullest game-weeks in history – it was a game-week dominated in the main by clean sheets for a change and we were fortunate enough to gain a clean sweep of them, courtesy of Cech, Walker, Holebas and Pieters. The only other contributions to our score were assists for Firmino and Lukaku and yet we scored 48pts, 6pts above the average of 42 and saw us climb to a ranking of 57,577. Exciting stuff. Another captain failure for Alexis was slightly compensated by Kun scoring just a solitary point on Sunday, so things could have been worse. All in all, we probably dodged a bullet given our defensive performance.
Transfer: Rasford to Deeney
We contemplated a whole raft of of complicated conundrums. This insignificant player to that insignificant one, meaning a slightly more but still insignificant one to maybe a slightly less insignificant one. Etc, etc, you know the feeling… In the end we just went route one and obvious with the sole focus on the week ahead. ‘Who plays Hull, let’s buy their most likely goalscorer’. Sometimes it can be as simple as that….
THE NEW TEAM IN FULL FOR Gameweek 10!
Our captain is Troy Deeney and our vice captain is Alexis Sanchez.
A slight surprise as captain given that we didn’t even own him previously but the ‘let’s chase Hull around’ theme caught on pretty quick! Given the last few weeks worth of captain failures on the mainstream players then we feel it is worth taking the slight risk this time, if playing Hull can even be considered as such.
If anyone is interested in following the site teams progress then you can do so here and we wish you all the best of luck this week with your own teams.

Well no-one was expecting that transfer
Excellent choice! I feel this is the week for off-the-beaten-path captaincy picks. I’m between Lukaku and Sanchez, so nothing as exciting here though
Sunderland team news: Adnan Januzaj (ankle), Jason Denayer (adductor) and Lee Cattermole (back) are unlikely to be ready, while Seb Larsson, Vito Mannone, Jan Kirchhoff and Fabio Borini are definitely out.
Arsenal line-up: (4-2-3-1) Cech; Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal; Coquelin, Elneny; Walcott, Ozil, Iwobi; Sanchez.
Arsenal news: Lucas Perez is out for up to eight weeks after damaging ankle ligaments against reading this week. Theo Walcott and Nacho Monreal are carrying minor knocks but should start.
From the sun.uk
Any news on Walcott guys..it will be a real help..what news came out after his final assessment..any ideas
Totally agree with your transfer
But feel sanchez can be good captain
So you may lost points compared to many others will captains sanchez
But we may not
Brought in Valencia and Grant (for Collins and Foster).
Best wishes all.
Ibrahimovic can not play this week. Ibrahimvic + Capoue to Deeney + Walcott/Ozil?
Or Ibrahimovic + Hazard to Deeney + Sanchez?
Ibra cannot play? or you mean he won’t perform well?
Ibra is 35 year olds. He cannot play 3 matches/ 7 days….
Burney is not big team. So, I think Ibra will not play this match.
He need to rest
Perhaps you’re right. I reckon, due to playing Burnley and the need for goals & confidence, he’ll play.
Concerning the other transfers, I already used my two FTs and self-imposed restrictions do not permit me to field any players from last season’s top four clubs. .
Cheers and best wishes.
A rest? Why would he need a rest? He’s a lazy sod
Do you never need a rest Kop? 😉
No!!!! 😉
Morning Cookie, Kop. How’s it?
Hey ATF, all good thanks mate, how are you and the clan doing?
Any trips planned?
All relatively good here mate How’re tricks with you?
All is good here. Had my school inspection 17th – 20th so I can breathe a bit, play some footie, enjoy some lemonade… We’ll surf somewhere warm during the Christmas holiday – probably Sri Lanka.
Kids all growing up – 2 teenage girls who are more than a handful and the lady just turned 12.
And you?
I have 1 FT and 4.8itb. Which option is right?
1. Callum Wilson to Deeney and Deeney (c)?!
2. Save 1FT and Son (c)?!
3. Other ideas.
Cech
Koscielny, Walker, Holebas
Son, Ozil, Allen, Firminho,
Costa, Lukaku, Callum Wilson
Sub: Jakupovic, Capoue, Lowton, Armat
Ozil or Lukaku captain and save transfer. I’d also try to get Capoue in there. You have AOA chip still?!?!
Thanks Pancho. I still have AOA chip.
Morning chaps loving the articles by the way.do I put willian in for wally or do I make a transfer if so who do I trasfer and who for..good luck on this game week DC
I’m having trouble sorting out my walcott-issue as well. Desperately searching for some ITK’s or inside information on him situation. Anyone who knows? Read something about a late fitness test on friday?
Regarding your team i’d prolly sit tight and save a transfer if we find out Walli is fit (or you decide to roll the dice on him). If not, i’d think about dropping Willian as of the Blues recent form and him hardly being involved. Personally I’m looking at Shaqiri. Stoke is in good form, have excellent fixtures coming up and Shaqiri taking every corner as long as Adam is not playing (also on many free kicks and netted from such last gw)
