Welcome to the Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 21 article. Last time we spoke to you we were celebrating Phillips and Defoe getting us 20 points in the past week – “It’s funny like that sometimes in FPL because we ended up having our hand forced a little to do two transfers we wouldn’t ordinarily have done had it not been for a combination of injuries, suspensions or obvious rotation. As it was it ended up being a thoroughly inspired bit of business! We sort of reluctantly brought in Phillips and Defoe with most of the transfer committee agreeing it was the right (and probably only) thing to do whilst at the same time shrugging and yawning at the prospect. Well bugger us, they only went and got another 20 points between them!” For those with a good memory that was our intro last week. It stands up so well this week also that we thought we’d just use it again! Just replace the 20 points with a 22 though, and we are good to go! Overall we scored 77pts which leaves us at 31,953 in the rankings – a decent weekly jump from 64,717! Other notable contributions were clean sheets for Nyom and Pieters, two assists for Eriksen, goals for Alexis and Ibra and a brace of penalties for Defoe. Let’s see if the recent successes have calmed the committee or simply stoked the fires of desire for more…
Transfer for GW21 – Sold & Bought – Nobody!
Now we know this doesn’t make for a very exciting article but sometimes that’s just the way it lands, deal with it! Actually a decision to do nothing is still a decision and has it’s merits just as much, and sometimes more, than a reckless but seemingly more exciting -8 or whatever. Some of our defence isn’t the best but yet it seems adequate enough this week, assuming they all play. It’s mainly just Pieters actually that is of concern, and maybe Holebas and his penchant for cards and his teams general penchant for conceding goals left, right and centre. A couple of our midfielders haven’t got the best fixtures ever on paper, but we like them long term, so there’s no point knee jerking on that only to wish we had them again next week. The rest looks ok. Let’s roll with it and enjoy fighting over where our two free transfers are used next week.

Scrap all that, we just bought Giroud for Costa!
Obviously with late Costa news emerging on Friday evening and having not used our transfer it was a fairly easy decision to draft in the delicious Frenchman given Arsenal’s next few fixtures. Welcome aboard Olivier!

Guys – one word: help!
Reckon I need to wildcard and am not afraid to do so…let me know if you reckon a bit of tinkering will suffice (only 1 FT and 0ITB)
Zaha has to be the priority this GW so I’d drop him to a Bournemouth mid Stanislas/Fraser to free up a little bit of funds for next GW, I’d probably (c) Sanchez from that motley crew as well. In the future though you will likely have to take a hit to put more funds into Valencia as having him as your third striker isn’t ideal. I still probably wouldn’t WC that team just yet.

I think a WC might be needed. Amat has possibly lost his spot, while Watson, Valencia & Collins don’t start for their respective clubs. Zaha is away on international duties and there are some doubts surrounding Nyom’s availability. Oh and Alonso may be carrying an injury.

What to do what to do!
Already brought Defoe in this week so 0FT.
My issue is that Ake probably won’t play, Nyom might not be allowed to play and Amat is unlikely to play.
Given that there is a good chance i’ll be playing with 10 players is it even worth a -4 given that i have £0 and I have to remove a Chelsea player before i do anything? So my options seem to be:
1. Just role with it and hope Nyom/Ake/Amat starts to be happy with 10 players
2. -4 Ake – Yoshida (who might not play…aghhhh)
3. -8 Ake and Holebas to Chambers and a 4.6
Hey mate. Even though Ake/Nyom don’t start, I would rather want Amat to come up from the bench than take a hit for a cheap defender. Looks like it might be Chambers.

The team looks good. Front 7 especially. Cholevas Pieters Amat and Nyom don’t look the best but on the brighter side 2 FTs for the next week will be massive

Hey guys ! Thoughts on my team? I have 1FT and 0.1 itb.
My biggest concern this week is formation and who to leave out. I don’t mind using the transfer but I feel like I can carry it over with the players I have this game week.
