Welcome to the Fantasy Football 247 Site Team Gameweek 9 article. One Jose Holebas, there’s only one Jose Holebas, one Jose Holebas! We’ll come back to our favourite Greek in a moment. With the average score for GW8 being 39pts it’s safe to suggest that we weren’t the only ones to have a shocker. We ended up with 45pts which resulted in a red arrow dropping us to 66,878 in the rankings. To be honest it could have been worse. Our captain, a certain Sergio Aguero finished the gameweek on a minus score thanks to his penalty miss. We’re pretty sure that’s the first time our captain has contributed a negative score. So back to Holebas. Thanks to a goal, a clean sheet and three baps he finished with 15pts which was a massive 33% of our total. Elsewhere our new signing Adam Smith picked up 5pts while Lukaku & Sanchez weighed in with a goal and an assist. As for the rest, the less said the better. And so we bid farewell to GW8 and move on to GW9.

This wasn’t so much our usual group argument, more like a family friendly creche snooze fest in the end. We had many questions to address –
Sterling to Walcott?
Yes it makes sense in terms of Wally… But should we really be selling Sterling with his fixtures?
Probably not.
Do we really want Rashford this week?
Probably not… But look at his next two games
Should we not do something about Capoue / Fletcher?
Yes! But probably not this week.
An Arsenal defender would be ideal..
Of course, but we can’t afford one
Do Wally in for Sterling then?
Nice in theory…
Anyway, repeat that cycle about 4 times and you’ll see why we ended up with both the most boring transfer we could come up with and why we were all asleep come the end of it!
Pieters with his good fixtures and less than reliable team comes in for Baines with his slightly worse fixtures and less than reliable legs / health.
THE NEW TEAM IN FULL FOR Gameweek 9!
Our captain is Alexis Sanchez and our vice captain is Sergio Aguero.
When we all finally woke up from the Pieters induced sleep we did a good impression of still caring and Alexis was voted for as captain by a unanimous choice. No reasons were either asked for or given, it just felt the right thing to do given his form and Arsenal’s as opposed to the alternatives.

Guys Im tempted to pull the trigger on an 8 point hit. I’m thinking of selling Baines, Rashford and Capoue for Daniels, Grabban(benched enabler) and WALCOTT WOOT.
Really It’s only a 6 point hit as Baines won’t play and I really want to get walcott in for these next two fixtures.
I could sell Son or Chadli instead of Capoue, however I think Chadli’s earned his place with some fantastic form and I wanna give Son a chance with a good fixture… That being said, I know it may not be the best idea to take an 8 point hit… Thoughts?

I wouldn’t be doing that Bob. It’s all basically because you want Wally yeah? You can’t have everyone you ideally want, every week. If you did you’d be doing a big hit every week. And that doesn’t work, over the course.

And yea it is – I kinda feel like the next two fixtures are too good to miss with the form he’s in but it is a bit mad to take an 8 point hit for one player.
Not sure the one’s I’m transferring out will get points tho and I refrained from hits up until now so it is tempting me! I know it’s not the smart move tho…

Zlatan down to 11.3. Still he has 41% ownership. Strange season that.
I`m depressed . I started season without him and got swayed after Southampton game when it felt he is a must have. Now I just feel like I`m stuck with him until he has few good games, scores few points and get back to 11.6 .
The thing that riles me most is his stupid yellows like vs. Stoke or Liverpool. Completely unnecesary.

Sold him weeks ago, he is not value for money when you have Costa and Lukaku in better form and cheaper.

You making very good points but 1 thing that makes me keep him I do think he was very good vs, leicester and Stoke and should have more than 10 points in each of the games. Vs. Liverpool had a chance as well so it is not so black and white situation as it seems.
I guess everyone who shipped him early can feel justified in their decision but it could have been very different. At this moment I will wait and hope he has a blinder vs. Burnley and Swansea. If nothing changes than he will be gone during next international break.

Would Captain Ozil considering his recent uptick in form. Mandanda over Heaton solely on Leicester’s form although they are playing at home. And definitely Allen at home!
