Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 15
The dream is alive
Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW15
We’re beginning to sound like a broken record, but yup you guessed it, we had another good game week!. We sold the injured Bowen who turned out not to be injured, his replacement Saka came in and scored 8pts so we didn’t mind! our other new signing Kelleher didn’t fair so well with just the 1pt on his debut a score matched by Palmer and Saliba. Elsewhere though it was a solid turnout across the board.
Our Newcastle duo Gordon and Trippier combined to score us 22pts, Captain Salah managed an acceptable 10pts, just 2pts behind the other captain favourite (Haaland 7pts). An assist for Tsimikas for 4pts, 5pts for doing the same for Mbeuemo and a smashing 11pts for the ‘injured’ Watkins. Nice.
70pts is where we finished, 16pts above the 54pt game week average and another green arrow from 1144 up to 662nd. Yikes.
Our Gameweek 14 Result
We have £0.5 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW15. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW15 Transfer(s)
Not a lot to say about transfers. We always favour rolling when we have just a single transfer. Obviously, from time to time, injuries dictate otherwise but it’s a strategy that has served us well this season and with our team in good shape we’ll be sticking to the plan.
This week we look well set with decisions on our starting 11 the only real questions. We put that particular conundrum to vote, in particular, Palmer vs Schar and Johnson vs Kelleher. The latter in each of those pairings won out unanimously in both instances and so that is how we’ll roll out. Salah takes the armband once again, a trip to a Blades team who have shipped a massive 39 goals in 14 fixtures to date is simply too tempting to ignore.
To confirm we have rolled our transfer
Captain – Salah

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Both leagues will be shut to new entrants as of 01/01/24.
Hmm Palmer vs Lascelles, not sure who to start. Palmer seems to perform well against the bigger teams.
Any ideas guys? Clearly the site team say bench Palmer!
This is the type of conundrum with which we are faced with current playable benches. I think the Everton fixture may be easier for Newcastle to win than Chelsea at Old Trafford. That’s the logic. But who knows? Who are your other players?
this is me for the coming GW.
ok to bench andersen here or should i play him over tsimikas?
Tsim is a rotation risk, but you’ve got to start him vs shu. Has a very high upside potentially.
Hi all!
Any suggestions for this lot? got 2 FT and 0,8 ITB..
Hwang for Diaby given next two fixtures for each?
Hi all,
Should I play Son and save FT or transfer him to Saka for this GW? Got 0.5 ITB
Areola
Saliba, Gabriel, Schar, Tsimikas
Salah, Gordon, Mbeumo, Son
Haaland, Watkins
Turner, Diaby, Archer, Kabore
I’d keep him. Looks like scoring every game.
Another ropey weekend for me sadly lads! Having a really tough season. Trading out Watkins for Nunez is a prime example lol. HOWEVER I’m not too salty about it (yet) and I’m determined to finish high in my leagues.
Anyways, quite honestly, I’m thinking of rolling my FT this week: thoughts? Anything I’m missing? Maybe swap out JWP? (Just feel like my overthinking has cost me this season)
1FT
1.1M ITB
Cheers everyone
