When you’re good, you’re good!

Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW16

Last week we said we were a broken record and *scratch scratch*, here we go again with another solid week! We didn’t make any transfers in GW15 and rolled the transfer which we will count as a good decision due to the colour of our arrow. It did give us a precious 2FTs for what turned into a week where Mbeumo got injured, Son got a niggle, Tsimikas got benched. Lots of headaches around the X-verse to deal with.

Now it’s not a massive green arrow but we finished on 39pts just above the 35pt gameweek average which saw a small rise from 662 to 528th. The air is getting thinner!

Our Gameweek 15 Result

We have £0.5 in the bank and 2 free transfers to use ahead of GW16. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW16 Transfer(s)

The voting for our 2 fts was pretty straight forward this week. The injury to Mbeumo hurts but at least he left with a parting gift of 5pts. One of our moves was for a midfielder who probably has the best fixture of the weekend in Phillip Foden. Mbeumo to Foden was not a straight swap and someone needed to be sacrificed. There wasn’t really anyone we wanted to drop at the back but decided that Tsimikas’ benching proves his place is rotational and we only want nailed on players! (So we picked a player under Pep! crazy )

We did want to try get a Chelsea defender in for that decent run of fixtures but alas, Levi Colwill was 0.1 too expensive. We decided to go with one of his opponents for this weekend in the form of Jarrad Branthwaite. Everton just won’t get relegated and despite getting a 10pt deduction have already climbed out of the relegation zone. Coming off the back of a 3-0 win against Newcastle (Sorry Rosco!) and only costing 4.1 mil it was too hard to pass up. The Norwegian Robot will take the armband this week. Away to Luton could be tough but Arsenal did just score 4 there so hopefully Haaland will follow suit.

To confirm then we have SOLD Mbeumo and Tsimikas and BOUGHT Foden and Branthwaite.

Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

    Only 39 points and yet still another green arrow. Can this (bloody annoying!) team do no wrong?!

    Was going to do:
    Mbuemo->Bowen.
    For the other… Son-> ????
    And will go -4 to to potentially upgrade Turner, just incase Areola plays (although may play the replacement if people think he is a better option)
    What are peoples thoughts.

    I expect Villa to shock title hopeful Arsenal and register their 15th in a row unbeaten home game.
    The question is, do I play D Luiz instead of JWP?

    How long will Mbeumo be out for?

    I have Palmer on my bench to cover so can I hold him?

    I see over 21k teams have transferred Mbeumo in this week?!

    Can’t decide to start dubravka or areola. Leaning towards dubravka for Newcastle defensive cover although they are playing spurs. Areola has Fulham but west ham often concede. That’s assuming areola is fit anyway
