Fantasy Football 247 Site Team – Gameweek 3
Welcome to Fantasy Football 247 Site Team – Gameweek 3
Can’t be too bad a sign when your captain fails and you still amass a healthy 57 gameweek points. This usually means that one or two other have done the heavy lifting. Step forward and take your applause; Bryan Mbeumo (16), Pervis Estupinan (11) & Martin Odegaard (11). Bravo!
Ollie Watkins (5) ‘only’ got an assist – but slow, steady and consistent we know he is – and he can’t play Hibs every game (!)
The remainder were 1s, 2s and 3s inlcuding THREE Manchester United players. Two survive but these two have their cards marked.
We sit healthily at 767,181 in the overall rankings ahead of Gameweek 3 …. where changes have been made ….
Our Gameweek 2 Result
Transfers & Team Selection
We have 2 Free Transfers and 0.0mln in the bank.
What’s worse than a defensive transfer? TWO.
You know what they say – ‘fix your weakest link’ and we have done that in removing Gabriel who we can’t rely on his ‘might’ playing against Fulham so he was on the chopping block. We had a move in mind and his replacement is Destiny Udogie from Spurs. Then the Luke Shaw injury news broke and, coupled with United’s suspicious start and a healthier bank balance, we took the plunge and replaced him with Ben Chilwell from Chelsea who embarks upon a run of great fixtures.
WE HAVE SOLD GABRIEL & LUKE SHAW & BOUGHT DESTINY UDOGIE & BEN CHILWELL
Captain
Again, it remains Erling Haaland (we’re unperturbed with the blank). Saka is on standby incase needed.

*** NEW ARTICLE – SITE TEAM GAMEWEEK 3 ***
Another pleasing week overall for the team, and now two transfers used …
Great article!! Good luck to the FF247 folks! You are enjoying a slightly better start than myself – hence this WC dilemma? Any advice?
Removed Salah, Wissa and Nketiah for these 3?
just replied to your earlier post
Such a versatile squad means you can play just about any formation – but you’ll have a benching headache every week! That’s the compromise when you have so many options.
I like the site team after those two transfers it is almost same as my team except I have Martinelli and Pickford instead of Odegaard and Johnstone.
I heave enough money to swap Pickford to Ederson, is it worth doing it or shall I save second transfer!
save.
Save
Ederson might be worth a punt for a few weeks, as Man City finally seem to be able to keep some CS.
This gtg or would you change the starting 11 or bench order?
Looks good to go, Rogueblood – very good team
I have some dead wood and 2 FT. Ship Gabriel for Udogie and roll the FT?
I’d be tempted, as you haven’t necessarily got three good starters in defence
I also have Gabriel to shunt but I am going for Gvardiol as City have good fixtures and I think he is nailed ,as can be with Pep rotation.
With an FT I’d defo move him on – with Gvardiol, Akanji, Henry, Udogie the options.
With 2 FTs I’d be tempted to try and get more City assets, perhaps in Joao Pedro to Alvarez – but dunno what your funds are like.
I’ve still got Gabriel for this week as I’ve used my FTs elsewhere and it doesn’t feel worth a hit to shift him on.
What is the link to follow the site team’s progress ?
