Ollie Watkins (5) ‘only’ got an assist – but slow, steady and consistent we know he is – and he can’t play Hibs every game (!)

The remainder were 1s, 2s and 3s inlcuding THREE Manchester United players. Two survive but these two have their cards marked.

You know what they say – ‘fix your weakest link’ and we have done that in removing Gabriel who we can’t rely on his ‘might’ playing against Fulham so he was on the chopping block. We had a move in mind and his replacement is Destiny Udogie from Spurs. Then the Luke Shaw injury news broke and, coupled with United’s suspicious start and a healthier bank balance, we took the plunge and replaced him with Ben Chilwell from Chelsea who embarks upon a run of great fixtures.

Again, it remains Erling Haaland (we’re unperturbed with the blank). Saka is on standby incase needed.

    • Sort of. They have had a rejig of the format and the widgets that we used to display it are no longer compatible. Working on a fix. For now the link to what they are doing is here – https://www.drafthound.com/fpl/predicted-lineups

  2. Dilemma here – some advice, please…should I play Walker or Gusto? (Already have Chilwell, not that that should matter.)

    • Between the two I would say play Gusto, have Walker coming in to replace him in case Gusto is benched.

      Unless you do not want to double the risk of a single goal from Morris ruining two CS

      • Thanks Shrivathsal. It’s the benching risk for Walker that I’m thinking about – really can’t be sure that Pep will stick with any players other than say Ederson and Haaland from match to match… but if he plays it’s a sound 6 pts, you’d have thought…

    • I removed it for GW1 as it wasn’t ready and live. I’ve pretty much been on holiday ever since. I’ll look at putting it back in later now that it is working again.

  4. Hi all!
    Got 1 ft and 0.9 ITB. Potential problem here as I might only have 10 or worst case 9 men starting for me.
    Any suggestions on what to do here? Sell Salah and use the cash for a replacement for Anderson as well?

  5. Am I crazy to be thinking about WCing this team? Udogie was my FT for this week taking out Gabriel but not entirely sold on Jackson, Joao Pedro, Anderson etc. so wondering whether it’s worth using the WC?

  6. Hi guys, got a little bit of a headache this GW. I’ve got Stones who needs getting rid off, and I think Chilwell is the best replacement, but I need to find funds somewhere. Looking at Mbuemo’s returns so far and Brentford’s upcoming fixtures, I think selling one of Bruno or Martinelli for him is the way to go.

    So the question is, which one to sell between Bruno and Martinelli? Leaning towards Bruno myself, United don’t look good.

    • Also, 2 FTs, nothing in the bank.

      • How about Stones and Fernandez out. Chilwell and Foden in?

        • Cheers, the problem is that Bernardo’s back in training so Foden might not be a certain starter

        • +1, I know it’s Pep, but surely Foden has been too good to drop.
