Fantasy Football 247 Site Team – Gameweek 3
Welcome to Fantasy Football 247 Site Team – Gameweek 3
Can’t be too bad a sign when your captain fails and you still amass a healthy 57 gameweek points. This usually means that one or two other have done the heavy lifting. Step forward and take your applause; Bryan Mbeumo (16), Pervis Estupinan (11) & Martin Odegaard (11). Bravo!
Ollie Watkins (5) ‘only’ got an assist – but slow, steady and consistent we know he is – and he can’t play Hibs every game (!)
The remainder were 1s, 2s and 3s inlcuding THREE Manchester United players. Two survive but these two have their cards marked.
We sit healthily at 767,181 in the overall rankings ahead of Gameweek 3 …. where changes have been made ….

Transfers & Team Selection
We have 2 Free Transfers and 0.0mln in the bank.
What’s worse than a defensive transfer? TWO.
You know what they say – ‘fix your weakest link’ and we have done that in removing Gabriel who we can’t rely on his ‘might’ playing against Fulham so he was on the chopping block. We had a move in mind and his replacement is Destiny Udogie from Spurs. Then the Luke Shaw injury news broke and, coupled with United’s suspicious start and a healthier bank balance, we took the plunge and replaced him with Ben Chilwell from Chelsea who embarks upon a run of great fixtures.
WE HAVE SOLD GABRIEL & LUKE SHAW & BOUGHT DESTINY UDOGIE & BEN CHILWELL
Captain
Again, it remains Erling Haaland (we’re unperturbed with the blank). Saka is on standby incase needed.

Best Shaw replacement? Considering City defence, but who is nailed on?
If you don’t have Chilwell him.
Brentford have a nice run coming up too.
Ake might be the best at city
I have Estupinan and Chilwell. Going to flio a coin between Dias and Henry. Thanks
Not Ake, don’t think he’s in Pep’s first 11 with Gvardiol here. Akanji seems nailed on until Stones comes back.
G.Jesus did a full week of training and is 7.9. Do I take him in on a WC?
Really like to hold 2 ft after using the WC, do we see him getting involved from now or next week?
Probably be involved at some point in the two.
Cheers GP, think I’d be wise to hold off for now so.
Just want to get him at the dip in price.
Contemplating this as well so that I can get Ederson in place of Alvarez. Decisions decisions
Can you afford him not to start? Or come on for a 15 min with 1 point?
Yes could go for a 4-4-2. Where are you at with Jesus?
Good to go?..
Don’t love Bruno and rashford, but think that’s an issue for next week.
The rest is spot on
Yeh last week for them both together I think.
This is a good fixture for that so worth holding both. Keep the one who scores higher.
Advisable to bring in Maddison on a WC ???
Hmm… they have a really nice run of fixtures coming up but there’s such an abundance of good midfield options I don’t think he’d be in my WC
Diaby, Sterling, Fernandez, Maddison or Odegaard ???
Chose 1
I really like that. If Odegaard stays on pens he could become the best Arsenal pick.
He will be on mine no doubt
Thanks guys
Start Maddy or Watkins?
Watkins
Watkins
Watkins. I think Lo celso will be given a chance to start.
With De Zebri confirming that Ferguson will start tomorrow, do you think it’s likely Pedro will be on the bench?
Debating whether to take a -4 to take out Chuk for Maddison / Diaz / Sterling
Thoughts? Consider or not worth it?
Don’t think it is worth a -4.
Pedro could play in behind or along with Ferguson.
Cheers GP
