It was looking bad but we turned it around!

Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW36.

I don’t know if it was just me but I felt like that DGW35 went on forever! I legit forgot the gameweek was still running until GP sent a message asking about site team and reminded me that Chelsea and Spurs still had to play.

I went on to the FPL site before the game and we were set for a red arrow and a drop to around 9k. It wasn’t looking good but we had Palmer, Jackson, Petrovic, Porro and Son left so there was still hope! *Enter Princess Leia ghost* “You’re our only hope, Cole Palmer!”

The Spurs lads were a waste of time! Son might as well have not been playing but the Chelsea lads did a fantastic job! We had the perfect three. Palmer grabbed an assist and clean sheet, Jackson got a goal and Petrovic got a clean sheet to go with saves and bonuses.

Our wildcard did a solid enough job getting 81 points which was a solid 29 pts over the average (52 pts) and we got our first green arrow in four weeks.

A rank boost from 8,075 to 6,493 and so close to breaking back into the top 5k. While the Chelsea boys were ultimately our saviour’s, the Geordie pairing if Isak and Gordon got 13 and 10 points respectively.

Our Gameweek 35 Result

We have £0.9m in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW36. Let’s go see what was decided….

Our GW36 Transfer(s)

We shall keep things nice and simple…. lots of flags but we are sticking with the Princess Leia theme of Hope and keeping our faith in the current 15. We are rolling the FT this week and looking for more information ahead of DGW37. There are a few players we don’t fully know their fitness level but we have a solid enough bench of reserves.

There were a few captaincy choices. I threw out a few names but Haaland was bus team choice and no one objected to it so he shall keep the armband for his match against Wolves.

To confirm then we have ROLLED OUR FREE TRANSFER

Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS

Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Afternoon all! I’m planning to use WC this week in preparation for BB next week. How does this team look? The only player I’m not sure about losing is Saka which I’ve currently put Bruno in his place. I haven’t hit the button yet and was hoping for some thoughts!

Might not be ideal on WC but you could have Saka over Bruno this GW gives you another week to ses if its worth bringing him in with a FT next week unless you have a plan for your fts in the upcoming weeks

      • chelseachick_uk says:

I’m doing just this – going Saka on my wildcard and get Bruno next week with my FH.

        What’s your starting XI?

That’s a possibility! I initially thought of making all the changes this week and then I’m left with a FT next week to amend any injuries that might occur. As Bruno is also flagged it might be worth holding that until next week!

I haven’t even considered my starting 11 this week! Next week won’t matter as I’ll be BB.

    Hi all,
    This is my WC team.
Thoughts on Havertz instead of Saka for this week and switch to Bruno next week for the DGW?
I’ll be bench boosting next week hence this team.
1.9 ITB so could also upgrade … Pedro P or Walker?
Not sure on starting XI either.
    Any other suggestions/input, gratefully received!

Not a fan of the Brighton pick they seem very leaky as of late, and as a Arsenal fan it feels weird to say this but yeah I would opt for Havertz

CC i’d play over Gordon over Jackson personally but i get you’re a fan.
I’d get an arsenal def over dunk and worry about the dbls next week, you’ve got slab head

      • chelseachick_uk says:

        Thanks!
Yeah, totally hear you re Jackson – couldn’t hit a barn door.
I did do Burn to White in the end and also put in Onana instead of Brighton keeper as I have BB for next week.

Congrats to the FF247 team for a great season so far, I hope you guys can finish it the top 5k

My ML leader opened up a 50 point lead on me by playing his WC last week, the only hope I really have is pick a differential for captain and hope they haul while the more popular choices blank (for the next 3 weeks laugh )

Thoughts on sticking it on Saka? Or I could put it on Foden and hope he chooses Haaland

Does this look ok as a wildcard?
Took out Bruno for Saka. Will do the reverse next week.

Looks good not a fan of Brighton defence they have 2 tough games in the double and current for I dont see them getting much joy

      • hammerfan_lm says:

wasnt much else i could do. Unless you have any suggestions.
hoping my other players make up for it.
My ML leader has 3 red flagged players in his team, and sure he will BB next week. He has used WC with 1 transfer this week. I am 9 points behind him. Any points is better than no points hopefully.

        • chelseachick_uk says:

          Hi Hammerfan,
I’ve gone White (regardless of no double) over Burn. I’ve also gone Onana as 2nd keeper.

        • chelseachick_uk says:

          Coz I have BB chip.

        • Rogueblood says:

Probs an Arsenal def although they play UTD in the double week as their single i like their odds over Brightons double

        • hammerfan_lm says:

good choices Chelseachick. Cant afford Onana without a complete rethink. I have 0.2m ITB which isnt enough to get Onana in.
i will do next week when I swap Saka->Bruno (if he is fit, and I have no other injuries)
Will obviously re-asses next week good

        • chelseachick_uk says:

Ah nice. GL this week you two.
