Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek 9
For whom the Bell tolls
Welcome to FF247 Site Team GW9
There was us giving it the big ‘un’ about the early kick-off, and once again the curse was very real as our captain Son managed a paltry 6pts against Luton. Pah.
The star of the show was a 9pt return from our keeper Sam Johnstone, but 6 pts from Trippier, Udogie and Maddison along with 5pts from Ollie Watkins was not enough to prevent a red arrow this week. Everyone else ended up with 2pts barring new signing Fabian Schar who went one better (worse) with just a 1pt return.
We finished the week with 47pts, 3pts above the average but not enough to prevent a 10k red arrow seeing us drop from 27,566 down to 37,821. Not too bad in the end and we’ll look to get back to winning ways in GW9.
Our Gameweek 8 Result
We have £0.5 in the bank and 1 free transfer to use ahead of GW9. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our GW9 Transfer(s)
Our first 11 look good to go this week but on our bench, It’s looking a little threadbare with 2 red flags and the non-playing Mubama.
We kept things simple with our decision-making process this week. We put it to vote, and the decision was unanimous that we would not only make a move this week but that we would also likely use our Wildcard in GW10 which seems to be the game week lots with said chip in hand are considering.
We then voted on whether we should use our single free transfer to cover our defence (given that we have two red-flagged defenders sitting on our bench) or take a cheeky 1-week punt. That one ended 4-2 in favour of the former. (Sorry Matt)
Our final vote was whether should we sell Estupinan or Bell. The injury to Andrew Robertson offers up a likely run of games for Konstantinos Tsimikas (£4.4m) and with favourable fixtures for the Reds, coupled with solid attacking stats when he did start last season, felt like a gift too good to refuse. Bell makes way and Pervis gets a stay of execution.
With solid fixtures for our starting 11, Tsimikas will have to make do with a spot on our bench, but should we need him, at least we now have that option.
Our plan right now is to play the WC in GW10, we could of course change our mind, I guess a lot will depend on how this game week plays out. As ever, we have a plan, but we remain flexible.
Haaland takes the armband and I for one hope he fails miserably (I don’t own him). Yikes.
To confirm then we have SOLD Amari’i Bell and BOUGHT Konstantinos Tsimikas
Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Hi guys. Team been so bad I took a rage -8 hit 2 weeks ago before remembering it was intentional break! Did Morris/Estupinian/Mbuemo > Watkins/Burn/Neto. Got off lucky without injuries I think but a bit of patience and I woulda gone with Tsimikas!
Anyway….line up wise …which 2 out of Neto/Diaby/Saka….suppose you could throw Alvarez in the mix too but city stats vs BHA usually good
Might as well add Areola vs Leno and Cash vs Burn while I’m at it too?
As it is I think Kev.
Cheers GP, have a good GW
Looks fine as it is, maybe put Burn first on the bench.
Cheers Terminators.. bold move but in all fairness one that could likely pay off! Good luck this gw!
Hi guys, two quick questions:
Who to play between Areola (Villa away) and Leno (Spurs away)?
Who to bench between Burn (Palace home), Cash (West Ham home), and Udogie (Fulham Home)?
Cheers!
The keeper choice is a real 50/50. If maybe play Areola, but it’s so tight.
I have a similar benching dilemma and have put Burn on the bench, because of his lesser attacking threat.
Evening everyone! Current line up below and I have 1FT with 1.1 in the bank. I’m not overly sold on Fernandez and at present have the exact funds for him to Son but worth the move?
I’d wait and assess next week with 2 FT.
Yea not this week
Please suggest on my no Halland WC team; thanks in advance
Turner, Aerola
Tripper Cash White, Udogie Tsimikas
Saka Salah B.Fernandes Bowen Son
Watkins Álvarez, Archer
Please suggest
Nishu
I think I would go Maddison instead of Fernandes long term.
Prefer Gabriel to White too.
Generally looks quite decent
1ft 0.6itb what chance would you do here? Was currently thinking Lampty to Tsimikas
Yup, seems a fairly obvious move that. Nice team.
+1
Hey guys, am I gtg? 0ft 2.2m itb. Plan to do Mitoma to Saka next gw. Anything glaring bench order etc?
Looks good. I might just put Kabore ahead of Gusto, as a little cameo to rest James is not unlikely.
Makes sense. Best of luck buddy!
+1
Looks grand, go for it
