Fantasy Football 247 Site Team News Gameweek DGW37
99 problems but Jackson ain’t one
Welcome to FF247 Site Team DGW37
Despite coming in 28pts above the average with a 99, there was no flake in our cone as we slumped to yet another red arrow. It could have been worse.
We backed the right captain, we had solid returns from our front 7, hell we even had our Arsenal defender doing what they do with 7pts from Gabriel. But to no avail.
Sunday was looking grim. Our decision to bench Jackson to the tune of 16pts was looking to take a devastating toll, kicking us out of the top 10k for the first time in 26 game weeks. Come Monday and the no-show from Bruno Fernandes, like many managers (including my own team) we benefitted from those 16pts subbing in. Nice. Sadly our sub in (for the injured Maguire) was Van de Ven, the Spurs centre-back with a -1 that dropped us just shy of the ton.
Our red arrow takes us from 6,493 to 7,330. As I said, it could have been worse.

We have £0.9m in the bank and 2 free transfer to use ahead of DGW37. Let’s go see what was decided….
Our DGW37 Transfer(s)
As planned we head into DGW37 with 2 transfers and it looks like we’ll need them. Injuries to Schar and Maguire mean there’ll be no Hail Mary plays or perfecting our 15 for the planned bench boost. It is what it is. We’ll be pressing ahead with our plan to play our final chip, so we need to replace the aforementioned duo with thoughts of ‘why didn’t we just go with Dalot and Burn ringing in our ears.
As ever, we put it to the Vote with a selection of defenders from Newcastle, Man UTD and Brighton. We threw in the Arsenal lads (for obvious reasons) and Branthwaite because despite having a single game week, the Toffees and their solid-looking defence face a Sheffield UTD side already condemned to the Championship. Furthermore, the Blades have collected just 6pts on their travels and the 16 goals they’ve scored away from Bramall Lane is the lowest tally in the league. You can see where this is going.
So, a clean sweep of votes means we flip Schar to teammate Burn, and Branthwaite comes in for Slab head. We still have a yellow flag on Bruno Fernandes, but news that he has trained means we’ll avoid taking an unwanted hit. Phew.
It’s been a good season for us, perhaps we could have pushed on with a few risky moves but that ain’t our style. We hope we’ve helped some of you with your own decision-making process along the way. I’ll be back to do a wrap-up article once the season is over. In the meantime, enjoy the final week and as ever, may your arrows be green.
To confirm then we have SOLD Schar and Maguire and BOUGHT Burn and Branthwaite and activated our Bench Boost Chip
Captain – Haaland

PREDICTED LINE-UPS
Back by popular demand! Well, sort of… Drafthound have changed their line-up approach this season and what it means for us is that we are no longer able to display a live feed of it on here due to some technical difficulties. That said, what they have done looks great and is still only a click away so if you want to access those they are HERE

Seeing as Saka is flagged, considering:
Saka->Bruno, and Maguire-> AWB, or Branthwaite
Will be BB this week – what do you think to the above for a 4ph.
Saka to Bruno seems like a good move, I am not sure about a Man U defender against Arsenal and Newcastle though, maybe go for an Arsenal defender thinking about the final GW.
Cheers Terminators – sounds like a good call
Guys am I good to go here please?
Good to go.
Thanks bud.
Here’s were I am sitting for this week. Should I take a -4 for Gabrie to another dgw player?
Would then do Bruno to a 3rd Arsenal mid for 38.
Small benching head ache is all.
What about Saka to Foden?
I don’t think it’s worth getting another DWG defender you can only go for a Newcastle one really.
+1
If saka is going to be fit I want him for 38.
But I get your point, I won’t hit for a defender
Hi guys
Chasing 2 mini leagues
1 of them had Pedro
The other has Pedo, dalot
With the above in mind who should I g replelace Mcguire.
My team
I would say Pedro you don’t have much choice really, the only other option would be White imo
If overall rank is out the window and you’re just chasing the ML Cucurella maybe.
Gusto seems risking with R.James on the way back.
Porro for me
Hi all, looking for a Maguire replacement. Here’s my team. AWB or a Newcastle DEF?
Just realised I am maxed on Newcastle players. So it’s United of Spurs DEF.
I’m in the same boat
Leaning towards AWB tbh
Man City! Akanji is £5m if you have the funds?
Brighton have a DGW too. For a BB punt, the likes of Dunk (funds permitting) or Webster (cheap enabler) could be a differential punt.
Veltman?
Hi all anyone please can give me advise . I have 1 ft 2 m in bank. Was thinking to get joao perdo for muniz but now injured i am thinking to get porro for bradley with ft and not hits . Any other ideas please.? Cant find a way to replace muniz
You don’t say if you are going to Bench Boost, if you are then Muniz to Wilson (NEW) but you would need to downgrade Aït-Nouri to the best you can get in, you wouldn’t be playing Aït-Nouri in the final GW anyway as they are are playing Man City, I know this will mean a -4 points, but for Wilson I think it’s worth it.
If you are not Bench Boosting this GW I would save the FT for the final GW.
Thanks for ur reply . Yes i am playing bench boost i cant do muniz to wilson 4.4 with 2 m in bank give me 6.4 even if downgrade nouri . Do u think wellbeck option and transfer bradley to van der wen?
it’s a tough one, maybe Joao Perdo because he may be okay for the second game, or just anyone you can get with a DGW selling Muniz and your £2m, there isn’t many options really though.
or just do Bradley to Burn with your FH.
