Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 31
We hoped for a late surge to waht has been a disappointing season up to a couple of weeks ago and it looks like we’re on the right tracks. We smaches the average again this week as we scored 78pts vs an average of just 35pts – our score gave us a weekly ranking of 16,450 and lifted us 250k places in the overall ranking from 714,651 to a season’s best 463,763. Wonders will never cease.
Our week, like many other teams was made by the choice of Kane as captain instead of Aguero who blanked at Norwich in the opening game of the week. Sadly Kane missed a few chances to add to his tally, but maybe we are being a tad greedy here. The scoring outside of Kane was solid all throughout the team – Lloris kept a clean sheet at Villa, while Kompany add maximum bonus points to his cs and Morgan collected another shut out on Monday vs Newcastle. The purchase of Siggy paid immediate dividends with a nine point haul at Bournemouth while Alli returned two assists for Kane. Vardy’s assist on Monday was a nice little bonus, though his form is a concern.
With all but one of the rearranged fixtures now announced and with a Wildcard, Bench Boost, Triple Captain and All Out Attack chips still in our pocket we envisage a further rise up the rankings in the last few weeks of the season.
Transfer decision for GW31 – Sold Kompany, Bought Williams
At this stage we should point out that we have already made the decision to play our wildcard in GW33 and therefore our transfers for this week and next will be focused on the short term. Why are we playing our wildcard in GW33? Without going into a huge amount of detail we simply feel that we can get the most out of it by playing it ahead of DGW34. At present we have four players whose teams feature in DGW34 and two of those are Kompany and Wayne Hennessy, so without taking a significant amount of hits we will struggle to field enough doublers. Therefore it was a relatively easy decision to activate our wildcard in GW33.
Back to this week’s transfer. With the Belgian gaffer suggesting Kompany is set to miss 4-6 weeks due to a another calf injury the decision as to who to sell this week had been made for us. The decision as to who to replace him with was also quite easy. Williams was suggested, Williams was agreed upon and therefore Williams has been chosen. With a game against Villa this weekend there is every opportunity for Williams to pick up a clean sheet which typically leads to a few bonus points and with a game against Stoke next week we feel that back to back clean sheets are not out of the question!

Captain – Harry Kane
He didn’t let us down last week and we’re banking on him doing the business yet again this week. He’s made a habit of picking up his points in clusters this season and with three goals in his last two games we’re hoping that this cluster lasts for a minimum of three games. Bournemouth have been in great form of late but they have still conceded 10 in their last eight games.
Our vice-captain is Gylfi Siggursdon
Should Kane fail to take to the pitch on Sunday afternoon we’re safe in the knowledge that Siggy can step up to the plate having put Villa to the sword on Saturday afternoon!

Hi
Why you didnt think for westbrom defense for short term
Aren’t they good fixtures especially you have swansea cover?
Because they don’t play Villa this week I’d imagine. He site team is after instant points with a Dgw plan set out. For short term, attack Villa. Makes complete sense in fairness.
It does. We’d have picked 11 Swans if we could
poor Villa. Worst team since Derby
Alreet lads and lasses! Where can I see if my rivals in my ML used their WC and chips?
So my team this week advice much appreciated.

Hej Hans…
Not sure what your long term plan is or what transfers I’d suggest. Payet, Lingard, or maybe Vardy out to square up some cash if you want to take advantage of this week only….. not sure what your long term plan is.. There’s some tough matches there… Swansea looks like the safest/most fun bet of the weekend..
as for finding your opponents conditions….. go to their team’s page and then click on “Gameweek History” on the right.. scroll down and you’ll see what chips they’ve already played….
Thanks Highaction. My plan would be to start playing for the DGW’s ahead. I have all 4 chips to play.
Morning lads. A few tricky decisions this week any advice would be appreciated.
Butland (Elliot)
Walker Koscienly Simpson (VVD Cresswell)
Payet Ozil Mahrez Siggy (Alli)
Vardy Aguero Kane (C)
Cheers!
Ali bench risky
Same hassle for me
He’s the only bench option imo
Do you have the AOA chip? I’d be tempted to play it of you still have it. Bench Kos I reckon.
+1
Who should i bench from my front 8
Alli siggy silva ozil mahrez
Kane kun vardy
Silva for me.
+1
Not explosive at all.
Thoughts?
Vardy over payet?
Im torn between Vardy and Payet/Firmino/Silva
Just edging towards Vardy not in best if Nick in terms of scoring record of late and Leicester just doing enough to win these days
I’d play Payet.
I have a feeling Leicester to do well against palace today but who knows. I’d play vardy and bench firmino. I’m playing payet fancy him to score against Chelsea who may have given up with nothing really to play for. Good luck
Just a quick question. I’ve already used ft to bring in siggy for arnie. Got fabianski in goal. Worth a -4 to ship Kompany out for another Swansea defender?
Jumpers – no
Thanks dreamers good luck everyone
No.
