Fantasy Football FF247 Team Game-week 32
I say boom boom boom let me hear u say wayo. I say boom boom boom now everybody say wayo. Oh we only went and did it again. More green arrows, another stealth like rise up the rankings, more points than we know what to do with. The team is on fire!! Just the 91pts in GW31 vs an average of 56 has seen us record another season best in the rankings – we are now 332,420. Ok, ok, we know it’s not brilliant, but c’mon it’s way better than it was 4 weeks ago. In three weeks we have risen 574,215 places – quite unbelievable and laugh at our ranking all you want, we’re going to enjoy this moment!
It would be easier to go through who didn’t contribute to our score in GW31 – namely Ozil and Aguero. Pair of losers. We saw points everywhere else – clean sheets for Lloris, Rangel, Williams and Simpson with the latter two also getting 2bps and Rangel nicking one as well! Siggy and Alli were midfield assisters while Mahrez of course scored the winner at Palace – assisted by our man Vardy. And then we had Captain Kane who scored within 40 seconds vs Bournemouth, added another shortly after and then set one up for the Viking to cap a 13pt return, doubled to 26. Booyakasha!
Transfer decision for GW32 – we have sold Virgil van Dijk and Giannelli Imbula and bought Branislav Ivanovic and Michail Antonio
After much discussion, deliberation, disagreement and disillusionment, we have “agreed” to play our Wildcard next week. Therefore with two free transfers in our pockets we were free to take a couple of one-off punts for our side. Of course that conversation wasn’t straight forward either, but we felt our defence was weak looking for the fixtures so we bought Ivanovic who plays vs Villa. Ivanovic has an impressive scoring record vs the Clarets and we naturally hope he adds to that on Saturday. We were looking at adding in a Chelsea midfielder, but we couldn’t afford Fabregas and so the choice was Willian or Traore. However, Hiddink in his presser mentioned that both had only arrived back from international duty on Friday morning and would need to be assessed. Given that the Villa vs Chelsea match is the early game, we felt it prudent not to gamble on either given their lack of recovery time. So we plumped for West Ham’s Antonio who play at home to a struggling Palace side. Antonio should benefit from Tomkins recovering from injury and given that Antonio has either scored or assisted in each of his last six home games, we are confident and hopeful that he will produce immediate returns in his short stay in our team!
Given our weak looking defence and our desire to play Siggy we have activated our All Out Attack chip.
The team in full
Captain – Sergio Aguero
In their wisdom the committee have voted Aguero as their captain, despite the striker not scoring away from the Etihad since 2nd February. Wonderful. Let’s hope the return of KdB changes things for our armband wearer.
Our vice-captain is Harry Kane
In the unlikely event that Kun doesn’t play for some reason, then inform Harry Kane, who can’t stop scoring will wear the armband.

Team selection right you figure?
Good differential squad
Which one you recommend for me for this week
Ruddy fabregas (ruddy norwich)
Curtois willian (willian may be not play)
Curtois antonio (2 westham as i have payet)
Mahelmy
I’d chase the fixture and do double Chelsea.
I reckon Willian will be pushed to play in the continued absence of Hazard.
Courtois and Willian.
Pancho
I know you may have had answers on the other thread but here goes an so you don’t feel like noone is listening to you . . .
I personally would play Rojo instead of Gabriel for no other reason than Watford have already scored against Arsenal away in knocking them out of the cup.
Good luck mate.
Best of luck FF247 team. That is a noted rise in the rankings so very well done. Keep up the strong finish!
My offering this weekend.
Got another transfer up my sleeve and 3.6M in the kitty.
Want to save and make three moves next week (-4) to capitlise on the DGWs. Could be persuaded though …
Anyone see something glaring I’m missing?
Thanks.
Nice Capo GP – team looks good, be nice to have a wildcard wouldn’t it
Thanks Cookie
I’ve made peace with not having the WC. Looking at 10 DGWers for just -8 and that will do me. BB should be OK for GW34 as my SGWers should go OK.
Payet yourself I’ll assume.
Don’t have him GP, may get Antonio though haven’t decided yet. It would be for Ritchie who plays Villa next week and would give me a benching headache this week. But I want him! Hmmm what should I do?!
Sounds like you have a good plan there mate, these wildcards are overrated! Seem to cause more pain and anxiety than anything else
Antonio looks a beast of a player to me and if you get him I couldn’t ever criticise it.
Ritchie though I rate. His delivery on Tuesday was brilliant all game and he took his goal very well. I’ll be surprised if he goes the rest of the season without attacking points.
Giving it to you straight, I wouldn’t transfer out Ritchie if I had him particularly with Villa due.
Thanks for that GP, keeping Ritchie will hopefully be good for next week. Then he defo goes!
Antonio’s home stats are ridiculous. Would you sell Alli or Wijjy for him?
Alli no, Wiji in a heartbeat.
Even this week when he plays Norwich and I have no WC and not many DGWers?
Morning GP,
Looks good to go and I’d certainly bank the tranny 😉
Like the capo choice and I’m currently doing likewise.
Kop
You’ll know all about banking trannies after your next weekend away 😉
Thanks mate. Payet could be a beauty of a differential pick for us.
Lol
:big-lol:
I realise none of you will believe me but I will not be frequenting the sordid areas of Amsterdam.
Kop
Why? Are you already banned? :winktongue:
Morning all!
Would you mind rating my team? Stuck on who to buy in Kompany’s place between Azpilicueta and Cresswell. Would only be for this week as I’m wildcarding next GW in preparation for the DGWs.
Cheers!
Swirly, Azpi i would suggest mate.
Cheers Cookie! Azpi it is! I trust you’re keeping well?
All good thanks boss, glad it’s the weekend and looking forward to getting down the beach!
How’s tricks with you bud?
Yeah, all good here cheers! Enroute to Brum airport for a lads’ weekend in Bucharest! Going to be warm there too, apparently, though no beach sadly! Plenty of bars with outdoor seating though!
Hoping to be on here more often soon, now things are gradually slowing down again.
Excellent, have a proper weekend mate, sounds like you and GP are conducting the FF247 European tour, he was lighting up Prague last week!
Ah, quality! I’ve only been to Prague on stag dos and so haven’t seen as much of the nice stuff as I’d like! Well, I’m up for a FF247 gathering in Monaco! Haha!
Yeah I bet you are lol!! We’ll have to get that sorted out!
Decided against chasing the price rise on De Gea last night. I’m TC’ing in GW34. Options this week are:
1) De Gea in for Butland –> Protects me from price changes. Funds could be tight and I want De Gea at some point…but if it came to it I could just get Adrian for the first DGW & shuffle to get De Gea in my GW36 WC.
2) Gabriel in for Walker –> My initial plan. Improves my team for this week (I’d bench Simpson). Also gives me a choice of ditching Vardy or Kane for Lukaku rather than being forced to ditch Kane. Risk is Gabriel being dropped between now & DGW.
3) Adrian in for Butland –> Better fixture this week, not as good in DGW. Protects me from price changes but I can’t afford Lukaku for Vardy so would have to be Vardy that goes.
Thoughts? GW32 & GW34 in mind.
*Last bit was meant to say, would have to be Kane that goes.
Get DDG EBC
Yeah, that’s what I’m heading towards.
Annoying I didn’t come to that conclusion last night but such is life, it’s only 0.1.
Hey Cookie,
I still have a free transfer. Bank is zero
Any advice for me?
Many thanks!
Wazza, how about Kompany to Coleman, start building for the doubles?
Yes! I want build for GW32,GW33. I will use WC for GW34.
Wazza, it’s tough as those who have decent fixtures this week have tougher ones next week.
Coleman is a decent shout as United are unlikely to smash them tomorrow and then they have the double next week.
Or get a Palace defender and don’t play him this week.
