Live Match Chat Game-week 38 – FPL Fantasy Premier League

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 33Welcome to the final Live Match Chat of the season. Well there isn’t a whole lot left to play for in the league itself, unless Man City have a massive catastrophe and that’s not likely to happen is it. Is It? Surely not… There will doubtless be an awful lot left to play for in fantasy terms though as many managers look to seal victory in their mini-leagues or indeed salvage an unlikely win from an impossible situation. Whatever your scenario this week be sure to keep us updated on the drama as it unfolds. Today is unique in the PL calendar as all the games are played at 3pm for the only time in the season so expect break-neck updates and dreams both realised and shattered in seconds. This could be a stressful one!

FF247 would like to thank every single fantasy manager who has contributed to this thread throughout the season. We have thoroughly enjoyed your posts on your joys, your frustrations, your elation and your dismay. If you watched it unfold from afar then we thank you too and would encourage you to get involved. We won’t bite, we promise. Well some may, but hey that’s part of the fun….

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points and the mini-league dramas right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck for GW38 from all at FF247!

Relieved I didn’t give in to the random urge to bring Remy in, not in the squad!

Not only do Chelsea have the most annoying manager, they are the most incompetent team too, consistently announcing their line up late.

Chelsea subs v Cardiff: Hilario, Cahill, Ake, David Luiz, Swift, Schurrle, Ba.

    No Willian.

F-ing waste of a season for Ake. Also, too bad van Ginkel didn’t get at shot after he returned from injury. Sighs. With Strootman out, I would like to see him fit and playing matches.

      • Sharmaisms says:

He is with Van Gaal currently.. probably the reason he hasn’t started. ACL injuries are a bitch, would really love to see more of him next season!

        Wait.. are you Dutch?

        • Raziel says:

Can’t help it, I am. Eurovision was almost won by my old neighbor yesterday, she came in second. Bwahahahar.

Yeah, I know about van Ginkel. I doubt he can make the squad but I would love to see him in it when fit. Don’t think he has enough match fitness. Still, if he does look better than his rivals for the spot (what is it for him by the way? is it 6 or 8?) than he might be choosen to come with them. Van Gaal is very weird person though, he taught Mourinho a lot (so go figure :P). WIll be fun to see 2 of the most hated coaches in 1 league next season (if van Gaal does go to United).

        • Sharmaisms says:

Success (and weird guys) do breed hatred.

I’ve watched quite a bit of Vitesse last season and he and Bony were sensational. Expecting a lot from him next season.

        • Raziel says:

Dude? You’re from India right? Lol, you watch the eredivisie? 😛

You were talking about the Belgian system yesterday. Don’t tell me you also watch the Belgian competition? In all honesty, the Benelux has some of the poorest at the moment. Mainly because all the money is in the big countries, sighs. Hope our youth will stay a bit longer in Holland (like for instance an Ake that left Feyenoord at the age of 16 or 17 to earn big at Chelsea but not play in the first).

Anyway, Vitesse is a satelite team of Chelsea. Think the boss of Vitesse had to go because he wanted Vitesse to become champion and Abra doesn’t want that. Why? I don’t know. Makes no sense. Now there is some other Russian mobster taking over Vitesse, looked good at the start of the season but last months they sucked monkeyballs. Anyway, now off to watch some football.

What games are you guys gonna watch? Think I’ll stick with captain Suarez.

        • Sharmaisms says:

I’m a dedicated Chelsea fan.. means I’m a pretty dedicated Vitesse fan as well..

Also keep checking out Zulte Waregem in Belgium as we have Thorgan Hazard there laugh

Think if Vitesse becomes champion or gets into the Champions League, then it will bring our relationship into further scrutiny and the Eredevise might change their rules and allow only a certain limit to loan players etc. Don’t think he’d want extra scrutiny on the Chelsea – Vitesse relations.

        • Raziel says:

Stupid move Chelsea didn’t go for Bony. If you watched last season you’d know he could be magic. They should’ve sold Ba and get Bony. I actually rate Bony higher than Lukaku (and I don’t think Mourinho should’ve loaned out Lukaku).

        • Sharmaisms says:

Hmm.. yea.. Bony’s really good. He is having a similar trajectory to Suarez.. though not nearly the same type of player.

He’ll be much better next season as well.

All my players start. Green arrows to end the season, and with the bad luck I’ve had, I cannot complain.
