Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!
Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.
Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.
Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.
What’s not to like eh? Go well.

SPURS team news for tomorrow:
Poch says he will rotate. Alderweireld will be in the squad, Lucas Moura is pushing for a start ‘maybe tomorrow is a good opportunity for him to play a little bit more’ and Llorente ‘is going to be involved in the game tomorrow for sure’.
Danny Rose is ‘progressing with rehabilitation’ – good news for Ben Davies owners, unless Poch finds someone else to play on the left. Aurier maybe?
Let the (circus) games begin !
p.s. dgw37 will be even worse I believe …
probably right HL, always an issue at this time of the season anyway, but worse this year with so much pretty much decided
Moura looked pretty good when he came on against City, I think he deserves the start.
Ideally it’s not at the expense of Son – Alli or Eriksen rests would be welcomed but I can’t see it really.
Do not like the idea of Harry Kane resting, but considering he convinced the club to appeal a goal against his own teammate, wouldn’t surprise me if he picked the team each week as well. 🙂
Am sure Kane starts and Llorente comes off the bench – ie ‘being involved’. He’s actually featured in 14 games this season which surprised me.
BRIGHTON team news for Tuesday:
no fresh injures and Chris Hughton has a full squad to choose from except the suspended Davy Propper and the injured Steve Sidwell.
Good evening all, I have 8 BGW35 players available to play. Now I have to take -8 hit to field 11 players. which 3 to transfer out ??
1. Vertonghen
2. Morgan
3. Mahrez
4. Willian
5. Son
6 Lukaku
Any WC available for 36 / 37? That dictates which way to go really.
nope no wc no FH
Bit of a tough choice then!
I think Spurs have the best DGW37, in theory, so I’d be tempted to leave those 2 in but Son is always liable to be rotated as we know and so I’d probably be tempted to bin him on that basis.
I’d keep Lukaku as he won’t be rotated.
I’d probably bin Morgan as they’re less likely to keep a CS at any given point.
Out of the others I think I’d lose Willian, probably just because he’s a bit more likely than the other 2 to get rested.
West Ham v Stoke, if anyone cares….
I do!!
#goarnie
Will be amazed if Arnie doesn’t get anything from this game, looks really desperate to score against his former club…
Butland’s face is doing a decent enough job for us non-owners so far
Has a Masuaku assist & Arnie goal written all over it
Lol yeah, brave lad to take that one and get right back up..
West Ham look a different team since Masuaku has come back into the side, I got rid of any hammers when they lost 0-3 to Burnley and there was all the crowd trouble, but fair play they seem a different proposition now. Got Arnie in my free hit team and will consider Masuaku/Arnie for the dgw also…
Me too! Go Masuaku!
I have no dog in the fight except that I really want Stoke to go down so yeah anything they can get would be a bonus in that direction!
Is that the best England can offer, would have Butland/Pope over him any day…
He’s an absolute joke and has been for ages now. I’d have my dead budgie over him.
You jinxed it!! Grrrr Masuaku was my only sgw player in a mastermind dgw plan involving Man Utd, Leicester and Burnley players that is now failing miserably because of that Crouch goal. Otherwise it was going to plan!
I agree, well I’ve never seen ya budgie play (dead or alive) but I would take him as backup over that sack of shit, Southgate needs to realise that experience isn’t everything…
He was fcking useless. Kept flapping at crosses.
:big-lol: very similar to Hart then…
Didn’t play BB and missed out on some precious points. bloody DGW!
Deliberately didn’t or forgot to didn’t?
deliberately and played TC instead on lukaku. shit GW so far and went behind my ML leader.
Long way to go yet. But yeah the former looks like it would have been preferable at this point. Couple of Lukaku goals and it’s a different picture.
Near the tail end of the season the relegation threatened teams play through their skins and sometimes unpredictability happens. Lets hope lukaku can redeem himself on Wednesay.
