Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!

Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.

Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.

Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.

What’s not to like eh? Go well.

      Makes me happy 😉

Seen any twitter news about Bailly by any chance? Don’t expect him to play as according to Mourinho he’s not a ball player, but surely he needs gametime if he’s to start at the weekend?

If this happens then my GW is screwed. Already Alli not even in the squad today and my Sanchez captain pick is a bust…
      Hoping Sanchez plays…

Wouldn’t be so sure on this now btw Pancho. Apparently he’s a bit of a little shit and has been ran off twitter tonight (despite being verified, allegedly) for other reasons not related to this. Not sure if he’s deleted or just suspended his account (or whether they have) but I can’t access it and judging by the comments relating to him he’s in a bit of shit! That’s not to say his earlier Man U tweet wasn’t accurate but it certainly pours doubt on it.

Wouldnt have an Arsenal defender against a “more to play for” West Ham

      • eresh12 says:

good point. did consider coleman/baines but dont expect them to keep clean sheets either as newcastle will defo score 1 whether they win/lose/draw

      • Smash10 says:

There’s not a lot of teams that look like they can keep a clean sheet. I’d put Arsenal higher than a lot of the teams. I mean Palace as an example is more unlikely

        • eresh12 says:

true about palace but their defenders get the unusual odd goal here and there. tomkins scored in the last blank week. would be funny if lightning stroke twice

        • inittowinit says:

It’s difficult to see many, if any outside of City and obviously you’d want more of their attackers than defenders. I think my plan A one has Monreal, Baines and TAA. I don’t think TAA plays though as he can give Clyne another runout so not decided on that one yet. Not even sure Monreal’s nailed on!

        • eresh12 says:

true innit. if clyne overcomes his knock/injury then i see TAA rested.

Well this is turning into a blinder of a DGW not probably my lowest score all season.
