Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!

Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.

Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.

Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.

What’s not to like eh? Go well.

Init – any update on Kasper, mate ?

Free hit take 2 with 0.3 itb. Take it I am safe with just butland in goal, can’t see him not starting. Think the 1st 2 on the bench will sub in if needed, but the plan it for a loaded 11.

Should I change KDB to sterling or sane? Coulld get an Arsnal defender or better keeper?

    Cheers

On 52 points with 10 players to go and Mahrez as Captain lol…need a Mahrez miracle!

    Mr Bean says:

If one or more of Salah/Firminio/Mane are rested this weekend, would you still pick 3 Pool players on a FH?

I would expect it to go like the Everton game without Salah/Firminio, but no Salah = Milner’s time to shine on penalties again.

Assuming Liverpool play full strength (with no game this midweek i’m sure they will), is this a good FH team for next week? Chasing rather than winning. 0.1 ITB

Hi Jamie, they play the semi 3 days after the WBA game. We are all hoping that the Anfield Express helps out with that situation anyway. The rest looks fine to me, although I’m not 100% on the double Burnley defence.

      • Jamie says:

Thank you! I’ll check here before the deadline then to see if you guys have any news on pool. Any recommendations to replace one of the Burnley lot? 4.8 or less

        • Brookyboy says:

Switch Tarko or Ward to Long.Frees up some cash for you.I’d prefer a playing sub or two just in case.A few cheap options are Dummett Mariappa Tomkins Bauer.
