Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat DGW34. Its double time!! A huge week of footy awaits, 14 games, starting on Saturday and with at least one game each day until we finish on Thursday. Wow. We kick off Saturday lunchtime with a date on the south coast as FA Cup semi-finalists Southampton and Chelsea have a warm-up for their Wembley date next week. Just four 3pm matches follow as Burnley host Leicester, Brighton go up to Palace, Huddersfield welcome Watford and Swansea and Everton meet at the Liberty. The first evening match, yes there are two, this week is that good(!) sees Liverpool host Bournemouth before the main event sees Wembley welcome Man City as they play Spurs. Don’t book any plans for Saturday evening!
Sunday is a calmer affair – Arsenal travel up to Newcastle before Man Utd enjoy shooting practice at West Brom.
Monday evening sees a night under the lights at West Ham. That used to be intimidating until they moved house. Stoke are the visitors and Arnie gets a go at his former employers.
Midweek sees the 2nd game for our double game-weekers. We start Tuesday as Spurs venture down to Brighton.
Wednesday sees Man Utd also take a trip to the south coast, to Bournemouth before we finish on Thursday with our last two matches as Burnley host Chelsea and Leicester welcome the hapless Southampton.
What’s not to like eh? Go well.

Sky Sports reporting that FA are investigating Alonso’s challenge at the weekend….
If they charge him today then that’s just enough time to get him banned for Thursday unless they appeal it.
If he appeals any potential ban could be lengthened – appeals really work with the FA. But you know that.

All I meant with any appeal was that they’d then have a hearing and he’d probably still make Thursday as a result. I’d assume the deadline would be 5pm tomorrow if he’s charged today.

TEAM NEWS – Bournemouth vs Man Utd
No new injuries for Bournemouth and no-one returning – squad will be as per the weekend.
Mourinho threatens changes after Sunday’s loss to West Brom with starts in the semi-final up for grabs for anyone who impresses vs Bournemouth.

FA confirm they have charged Marcos Alonso with violent conduct. He has until Wednesday 6pm to respond. He faces a 3 match ban if he accepts the charge.

What’s the max ban if he appeals? Surely still 3 games, it was bad but it wasn’t THAT bad.
Just want him to play Thursday, the ban makes my life a lot easier after that to raise funds for Jesus now with the City double.
Bean, i think they can increase it by a game, but don’t quote me on that.
I doubt they’ll appeal to be honest, it was so blatant.
Was just thinking that if there’s no increase, they might as well appeal, although he would miss Liverpool instead of Burnley which doesn’t seem worth it.
I agree they shouldn’t appeal, just annoying having kept Alonso as an ML differential.
Any appeal deemed ‘frivolous’ usually gets 1 game added. I doubt they’ll appeal.
Someone mentioned how the lower teams suddenly play differently late in the season. We are certainly getting a few surprising results this GW and we will get rotation.
I am on a FH for GW35 – This is the basic plan but I would love to hear of any better idea

If I were Klopp (Und ich bin nicht von Deutschland) I would certainly rest Mo. The CL beckons this year and a top 4 place is pretty safe already. Why take the risk?

Well its foolish if he plays and given that it’s very likely that we will get a strong hint either way pre-deadline, it’s very much a wait and see.
Most I know who are on a FH are planning one with Salah with obvious alternatives to come in last minute if we are told he will not play/start.
I will also wait and see – not sure about the reliability of the inside leaker but it will be a factor to consider.
Let’s see.

The leaked team has been 100% accurate over the last few weeks.
I have 2 teams ready to use depending on whether or not the team is leaked and then a 3rd one which has him in there but with a better bench just in case it isn’t leaked.
