Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 10 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 8GW10 is live! No lunch time kick-off this week, but we do have five fixtures starting up at 3pm. We see the useless Panther visit what amounts to his equivalent, but in a manager role in Sherwood, as the Swans visit the Villans. In other action Vardy looks to continue his immense form against Palace, Stoke’s boring eleven tangles with the equally boring Watford, The Hammers have grandpapi Costa come over at The Boleyn Ground for what promises to be a shovy affair, while in the last fixture of the day the Gooners take on the Toffees in what hopefully turns out to be an up and down game with Romelu and Theo or Giroud missing clear chances.

On Sunday we have four fixtures. We started it off with the Tyne-Wear Derby. All the new Wijnaldum investors will be interested to see what their new hero will do versus the laughable defending of the Black and Blue Cats. Expect a blank for your point chasing. That cracker of a game is followed by two fixtures kicking-off a few minutes after 2pm. Spurs will look to take advantage of a Bournemouth side who is likely to give it up easy now after having their Cherry popped last GW by the Citizens. We also see the Manchester derby in this time slot. We know that everyone will be paying close attention to the midfield match-up of Yaya vs Wayne. Super excited to see these two lay up against each other like two old and tired fighters in the 10th round. In the last fixture of the day and the game-week at that, the Kloppites look for their first win when Cedric “clean sheet…less” Soares and the Saints drop by Anfield. The high press vs the high press, expect this game to come down to a terrible mistake from either Fonte or Mignolet/Skrtel to the opposing striker.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the FanTeam.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so don’t be shy and let us know how much you are in line to win.

I think I’m going to burn my FT on a defender this week, any suggestions on players/teams to consider? Money is no object, just looking for decent fixtures and offensive points potential. Thinking about Van Dijk perhaps, anyone else you’d suggest?

Already have Kolarov, Darmian, Whittaker, Muniesa, and Zouma (don’t laugh, he’s scored 12 points the past 2 weeks!).

Red, Ive been touting Bertrand (over Darmian or Muniesa I would think).

To be remembered – I have been drinking since 2 . Its now past 9.

Advice at your peril my friend.

How are we Red Coleman would be a good shout , Eve have some nice fixtures coming up. Also Bellerin for attacking potential. Van Dij is also a good option very impress with Sou today they have a good team.

Haha, thanks Dreamers. I like Bertrand and was watching him closely during the Liverpool match. Van Dijk seemed to be the most dangerous defender going forward though, and he got a goal last week.

Hey Silver, how’s it going man? Speaking of Everton, does anyone know the deal with Baines? Is he back in the picture soon or what? I was thinking about Coleman but he didn’t seem to be getting forward this weekend like he used to. Baines could be fresh and ready to go soon and only has 2.6% ownership.

    Evening all

Bit of a write of this week but guessing that is the feeling of most?

As for my team, I have 2FT and ~£5.5m in the bank.

Was thinking Lukaku in for Martial but both have good fixtures and Souare/Francis to Van Dijk/City defender. Only thing holding me back is that my defence look okay for this weekend! haha

Thanks in advance for any thoughts on what to do.

    Hey lads,

Hope you all did better than me this GW. I took the great advise from members here and wildcarded two games ago, scored 102 and 76 last two GW but this GW only managed a miserable 34 points. I need to get back to winning ways and I’m sure some advise from you legends will get me there!

I saved my FT last week so have 2 in the bank for this GW.
I need to get rid of Sturridge and should probably do something about Mertesacker.

    Striker options:
Benteke (Chelsea next and City GW 13. Good run besides that)
Bony (Will probably lose his spot when Aguero is fit again. But when will that be? Would he be worth getting still?)
Martial (Good run of fixtures. Will he be playing the wide position though? He needs to be upfront to be considered imo)

    Defender options:
    Sagna or another city defender
    Bellerín/Monreal
    Alderweireld/Dier
    Coleman/Stones

What do you think the best move would be? I’m pretty stumped as there are some good players I can buy, deciding which is the hard part. Team attached. 0.1m in the bank. Cheers for any and all replies!

      Coleman and lukaku..cheers

      • makeya says:

Good call. Cheers. Everton have a tasty run of fixtures. Hopefully Lukaku can pull his consistency together. I can get Coleman and Bellerin. One for Merts and one for Fancis. But only have a FT for one this week. Do you think Everton or Arsenal have a better chance of holding a CS this week?

      Wafflez says:

I would go for either Lukaku or Kane for Sturridge
And Bellerin sounds like a good move for Mert

      • makeya says:

Lukaku’s run of fixtures looks great. Don’t think Kane has really found his form. Still only really scoring from penalties. Am I right to say that? I can get Coleman and Bellerin. One for Merts and one for Fancis. But only have a FT for one this week. Do you think Everton or Arsenal have a better chance of holding a CS this week? Or will Coleman or Bellerin raise in price over the next week or two?

        • casey says:

if im in your place at da moment i will bring lukaku first and deal with defence next week..so ur front seven will be
          sanchez-KDB-payet-cabaye
          pelle-lukaku-vardy
Normally points coming from the front seven..its just my humble opinion..haha
