    Rooney vs RVP debate?

    Who is better?

RVP has minutes with him, plays as striker, and Rooney got subbed out early, also is not even playing in the hole with two strikers up top since LVG is prefferring speedy strikers.

Rooney is more important than RVP hence him being subbed out in view of the hectic Xmas period. And him already being on yellow LVG did not take any risk. RVP should get subbed with Wilson and Falcao (finally??) according to me. RVP is not so speedy haha…he has got some of his touches back but Rooney played a bit deeper today but in other games he played up front so I would favour Rooney over RVP. Also because he is 2 mil cheaper. But i have to admit..RVP could be a differential. A pricey one, but still!

Great analysis KungFu. Never thought of it like this.

I notice I have a lot of “buts” in there. That’s only my feeling anyways. RVP could get more goals than Rooney. They are both on some kind of good run so either would be good especially with Di Marias soonish return?!? smile

Hey guys I’m thinking of using my free transfer to do guzan out de gea in, I have 3 million in the bank. Are there any other transfers that would be better to make?

      The B says:

      Id prefer Hart over DDG.

With that FT why not get rid of Krul who will be out for a long time? That would be my prefered option. And as The B said, Hart may be better especially the next 4 fixtures! DDG is 0,5 cheaper and United might be keeping it tighter at the back with injuries calming down a bit… But Krul > Hart or DDG would be a good move!

      • am4r77 says:

is there any news on Krul? I guess it would be better to keep guzan as a solid back up goalie, I’m not sure who to go with out of hart and de gea, I was thinking de gea cause he’s cheaper, been in terrific form and cause I’m a utd fan lol. But hart is a solid keeper aswell, I’ve got some thinking to do.

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

Krul expected back in January it seems. Nothing official so you never know. It would be better to sub him out especially with the congested fixtures ahead! If you really fancy him there is always the January WC you can activate to bring him right back in! Me too having DDG and being a United fan I might be biased, but on paper Hart has the easiest 4 upcoming fixtures. Even though I fancy DDG to do just as well as Hart (or even better since Kompany looks injured and that might shake things up in the noisy neighbours camp) haha! If you are looking to save a few then go DDG because on his current form he is the best keeper in the PL at the moment and going up in price tonight! 😉

        • am4r77 says:

I’m not keen on krul, I was just having a wonder when he would be back, Because as you said nothing is official. Im going to get rid of him for either hart or de gea like you said, because Guzan would be a good back up if I got either of hart or DDG. Both City and man united have decent upcoming fixtures and both keepers are in good form, I think de gea has been better, but that is just my opinion. I think I’m going to go with de gea, but I’ll have a think about it. Cheers for the advice though, much appreciated.

        • KungFuKingCantona says:

No problem am4r77! I am in a jolly mood after this afternoons victory! smile I agree with DDG being better, maybe that’s because we have a defence changing 3 times per game that he gets called upon that often and produces wonder saves! Cheers and have a good evening/night/morning/afternoon or what ever depending on where you are in the world!
