GW16 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Unfortunately there is no Saturday lunchtime game this week so GW16 kicks off with six 3pm kick-offs and then Arsenal host Newcastle in the evening fixture.

One qualification. Cahill and Hart may be dispensable, but Baines and Coleman were as good as most forwards last year. I’d give them some time. They haven’t cliked yet this year, but may be hard to retrieve.

I see a lot of buzz about Mangala. He is obviously in a great defense w/good fixtures but Kompany is injured, which seems to weaken chances of CS. And isn’t he on 4 yellows? Should lack of Kompany and close to suspension be reasons not to bring him in?

He is on 4 yellows, but clean sheets might not be so difficult anyway once we take a closer look at their schedule. They play the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th teams in the standings and 3 of those 4 are at home.

I can’t tell if you are pulling my leg. 😉 I just happen to own him the only week he did nothing in the last several. He is worth a handsome amount, but so is Costa and the returns over the last several weeks don’t merit a spot on any team yet most of us keep him. I don’t like the amount of chances RVP is getting, that worries me because if he is not almost 100% efficient he would not be racking up these scores. However he is scoring and in the end that is all that counts.
Costa returns over the last several weeks for those that haven’t noticed.

or get Austin and Eriksen for Gibson.
Really don’t know which way to go. RVP’s points can’t be discounted.

I dropped RVP and did not pick up Eriksen basically because I let people convince me through their comments that neither were worth it. I should have both on my team the last several weeks.
