Cahill being rested for the weekend game. That’s what I like to hear.
So guys, anyone watch the WHU game? How was Sakho. He has to play with Carroll now. Will it cost him many points? And us? His managers. 😉
Keeping him for the Leicester game, after that he’s a Gooner.
I mean Mou gives him free for the Cup game so he’s 100 percent next weekend. Lol, I’m just glad dude didn’t get red carded.
Didn’t know Arsenal were interested in him ……………………………..
Raz, I saw the highlights only – it didn’t look Sakho’s best game, but then Sunderland away was always going to be a fairly tight affair.
And here I was thinking getting Cahill was a smart move on your part.
But you can play 3 decent defenders so who needs Cahill?
He’s rested for the up game. We’re playing FPL. So it was a smart move. Means Mourinho thinks he’s that important. 😉
up = cup
Glad I don’t have Azpi
Or Dzeko for that matter.
afternoon all,
Shocking week so fa dropped 10k in the rankings & getting killed in my ML as everyone has capt Haz apart from me!
Who is better for this week:-
Dzeko to giroud for free
Siggy & Dzeko fo Boyd (as an enabler) & Rooney
Siggy & Dzeko to Sahko & Nasri or Eriksen
Any advice appreciated
Cheers
Dzeko>Giroud for me. He has Liverpool and then QPR, so he is set to score in both fixtures.
Cheers B,

Team for next GW. FT used and 0.5M itb.
Mirallas is the only concern, unless he bags a brace tonight and boosts my confidence.
If all players come out alive this GW, ill deal with Adrian next GW. I might go for McGregor, a very unpopular choice.
..
Save the FT, unless you really don’t like Mirallas 😛
Is Siggy still a must have?
Debate.
Is he getting you points ??There is your answer !
He’s certainly not a must have Milky, pretty sure that most if not all would agree on that.
Whether he still commands his value as he clearly did earlier in the season, is more the question I believe. For me he doesn’t, right now.
Hey Cookie: Yeah I’m looking at him now and not seeing the value just yet. But I don’t see him being rotated compared to some of the players.. I mean Azpi and Zab rested on the same GW?!
Yeah that was pretty unfortunate for those that had both. Or either really.
I think the point on Siggy is this – at the start of the season when he was 6mln I think, he was the standout value player and backing it up with point scoring GWs. He has risen significantly and in the meantime his performances have been less consistent, especially lately with nothing at all away from home. At the same time, others have come to the fore at a “similar” price range, Downing being the most obvious – who are delivering home and away.
Plus, as Siggy’s value has risen, the gap between his price and the next stage up….ie Mirallas, Eriksen, Silva, Nasri etc…..has lessened, makes it an easier upgrade to those players and others – and with many managers with cash in the bank from Kun’s injury, people can now afford 3 big midfielders rather than two…..
just my take on it.
M&B – think Cookie has nailed it. All about value with Siggy. Ive had him from day 1 and there are bigger issues on my squad (Mr. Barton…I’m looking in your direction…) so he’ll stay for now. Have to have another look during Jan WC.
Hi folks. Looking for some team advice, if you’d oblige. Still doing fine, just outside top 5k but I’m slipping slowly from my position nearer the top 500 a couple of weeks back. Thing is, I can’t see many improvements right now. Siggy is potentially due to move on, and I’m also having second thoughts on Costa. Chambers too will go as I think he’s likely to lose his place soon and drop in value. Is anything desperate for this week or should I save the transfer? Doing fine in the mini-leagues- touch wood I should qualify in 2nd place from my Banterbury Qual league- so I do not need to chase anyone just yet. Bit stuck on where to go next, if anywhere. Thanks!
btw, I’m considering B. Davies in for Chambers, and possibly Fabianski in for Forster. Clichy I’d like to hold as long as he has his starting spot- right now he’s in good form.
Pippin it’s generally fine, pretty good. Obviously. My biggest concern would be Berahino. Maybe Kane would be a better option? Playing, scoring, a couple of decent fixtures coming up…..
Thanks Cookie. Yes, Berahino I got in as a differential when everyone else got Austin, and all he’s done is drop by 0.2m!! Clearly I made the mistake of picking fixtures over form… I don’t know why WBA won’t start him though as they’re hardly free-scoring right now. I can’t decide whether to give him a final go this week and bench Fab, or play them both and bench Siggy.
Another thing is that I don’t like rotating within my front 8 so I’ll likely trade Siggy for Boyd or similar at some point to earn a spot of cash. Kane is a nice idea- could use the money saved on Berahino to consider Chelsea defence for Clichy whenever he loses his spot then?
Sounds a decent plan Pippin. I think Berahino has a police investigation going on for drink driving, not sure if that’s why he’s not being played.
