How is one supposed to choose between Costa, Hazard, Sanchez and van Persie for (c) this GW. They’re my four picks anyway. Suggestions? Ta.
Hey NIN, I’d narrow it down to Alexis and RvP personally. Don’t see Chelsea smashing West Ham.
Cheers Cookie. You fancy the Chelsea match to be a tight one then? I have it down as a lock Chelsea win by 2 or more. Interesting. Who would you lean toward out of the other two then? Tough call me thinks.
NIN, I think I’d lean to RVP, I really fancy United in that one and that’s not being biased. Samchez has worried me since Giroud has returned, but it’s QPR at home so it doesn’t get much better.
And yes, I see Chelsea vs West Ham as tight, Big Sam will have a plan, Hazard could miss out anyway, Costa isn’t firing and they only put 2 past 10-man Hull.

Ok I think, done nothing yet, waiting on news on Siggy and Hazard. Strongly considering Baines and Siggy out for Hutton/O’Shea and Silva.
Will give me a front 8 of:
Eriksen, Alexis, Silva, Yaya, Hazard
Austin, Sakho, Bony.

Funny you should mention those transfers.. they’re the exact moves i’ve made this week, almost. Baines&Sigurdsson -> Cissokho&Silva.

Yeah they are transfers i like. It would leave you with a tough call as to who to bench most GW’s though. Sakho perma-bench unless there’s a juicy fixture perhaps?
Not really NIN, as Sakho, Bony & Yaya all go in 3GWs so it gets me thru until then – at which point I can look at options. Having Silva already in place is something I’m very keen on.

VC is currently on Austin, the only nailed player I think I have in my squad.
My thinking is, if RVP is missing the game, I need a nailed on VC to back him up who plays 90 minutes at least.

NewbDoe – Sigurdsson -> Downing is an option that i would consider here. Whether or not you want to take a hit for other players, is another matter.

Thinking I could be in some trouble. Siggy injured and out of form, Jagielka and Everton aren’ts keeping clean sheets, Costa is too expensive now for his production. Hazard injured. What do I do this week? I have a 19 point lead.

Evening lads. Just wondering is not selling Siggy and Baines yesterday for Sterling and Zab going to come back to haunt me because my maths was of my 0.1 so now I can’t make them changes?

I wouldn’t be worried about Sterling anyway. 4 assists & no goals in 12 GW’s isn’t exactly great form. Might as well have Sigurdsson at nearly 2m cheaper. Baines is way dearer than Zabaleta too so no worries there either.
Ye there’s not problem changing Baines to Zab it’s just Sterling, I just thought with his fixtures and Liverpools form seeking to pick up he could be a good differential
When did their form pick up? One win from the last five games and only 6 goals scored in those games. Woeful. Buying him could work out really well of course, but i doubt it at this moment in time.
Form was probably the wrong choice of word I suppose they have been attacking more and have been very unlucky in front of goals
