Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 20 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW20 is live! And we are off, The Hammers take on Liverpool in a lunch time kickoff. Not sure what to expect from this one, after West ham ruined their perfect run of 5 straight games with a draw when they mistakenly beat Southampton on Monday. Three o’clock brings us six juicy fixtures. Chumpions-to-be Arsenal take on pushovers Newcastle, Leicester try to continue the magic carpet ride with Mahrez at the helm when they tackle The Cherries. Man United will look to continue their run of boring going, when they tangle with a perfect dance partner in Swansea, Zzzz. Norwich face off against a peculiar Saints side. Southampton has one win in their last seven and naturally they mauled Arsenal for that one. West Brom will look to contain the all of sudden potent Stoke attack and in other action or lack thereof we see a clueless Sunderland take on the dumbfounded Villa. In the last fixture of the day, Watford and City tangle and what most will hope turns into a shootout. Personally, I beg of you Ighalo, STOP SCORING!!!

Sunday sees two fixtures. The tough Palace defence looks to keep another clean sheet versus Chelsea and free scoring Everton battle it out with third place Spurs and what will be a duel between Lukaku and Kane.

Saturday in full…

West Ham v Liverpool 12:45pm

Arsenal v Newcastle 3pm

Leicester v Bournemouth 3pm

Man Utd. v Swansea 3pm

Hey guys, how’s it going? I’m in the same boat as most with the Vardy conundrum. I can afford to get Aguero in for Vardy by using my 2 FT to do Kolarov and Vardy out for Adam Smith (or any 4.0 defender) and Aguero. Problem is I won’t be able to afford it after Vardy’s drop tonight so I’d have to make the transfers early, and 8 days until the next match is forever to be hoping Aguero or someone else doesn’t get injured.

What are other people thinking about? Benching Vardy or selling him? For who? Any other ideas you see for this side?

    De Gea Myhill
Kolarov Zouma Wollscheid Alderweireld Van Dijk
    Walcott KDB Alli Ozil Mahrez
    Ighalo Vardy Lukaku

      AT says:

Get rid if Walcott for a cheap 5th mid instead?
      Win/win as no selection headache.

      • RedVT says:

Thanks AT. I’ve got Alli for a cheapo 5th mid but I DO have a selection headache already because he’s good enough to play every week! I’ve already talked myself out of an early move for Aguero. I’ll clean up my defense and possibly bring in Payet for Walcott to generate some cash, then get Kun in for the next GW if he’s still healthy and playing well. Way too early to be doing big transfers like that, especially with League Cup matches this week. I’ll just have to eat a couple potential price drops/rises.

        • AT says:

That’s what I mean Red, don’t use him as a fifth mid but fourth.

        • RedVT says:

Ahh, I see what you mean. That’s not a bad idea at all actually. I’m going to wait as long as possible to see how the Cup matches and this week’s training goes before I do anything, but that would be a quick way to generate some money. Thanks AT, much appreciated. smile

I’m not going tongrt rid of vardy.he’ll score a brace and then everyone would be behind his arse again.

    Shadow says:

Just got to the transfer page to bring Payet in and saw Willian’s name on there, in decent form and seems to have nailed down a spot with good fixtures coming up.

Worth a shot over Payet or not?

      inittowinit says:

Shadow I have both teams in the Favourable section on the Fixtures article. Willian has been consistent as all season while Payet may take a game or two. Tough one I know but good spot!

      DMC says:

Agree with Init here both are good shouts. Willian always carries the risk of being outplayed by his team mates while payet is everywhere for WH. Though call that one. I’m on payet tbh but that’s just because I lost his initial bandwagon and wont make the same mistake again on him.

1 FT amd 0.7 itb. Have no idea what to do with the team? And who would you bench for Ali? Suggestions on transfer please!

      constantine says:

Snookie…arnautovic can have a seat and alli may play.one transfer that i recommend is darlow to henssey/ butland. Wouldnt risk lloris against leicester.. I know stoke’s fixtures are a bit tough, but they have fared well against teams like city, west ham..cheers

      • Snookie Bear says:

Benching Arnautovic against Norwich? Nah, maybe will bench Kdb as I have Aguero as cover for him or maybe Mahrez without Vardy won’t be as effective but he’s a big risk to bench!

        • constantine says:

Norwich have kept cleansheets in the last two games..one against southampton which scored 4 against arsenal. They are looking good at the back..thats why i suggested..rest depends on what you think. Cheerss

Morning people…This getting up for work malarkey isn’t getting any easier!

What’s everyone’s thoughts on the WC situation.
    Is it better to:

    a) use the week before a DGW and then use the bench boost card (will there be enough DGWs to get 15 players with 2 matches?)

    b) get as many DGW players in as possible in the prior weeks just using transfers and then use it to sort your team out afterwards

    c) use it now and gain extra points from now until the DGWs which you would otherwise lose out on

Morning all made 2 TF last night lost 1m in doing it Vardy & Barkley to Igahlo & Payet might be a very poor move & losing the cash has killed me 😉
