Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 22 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16
GW22 is live! Nothing like the sweet smell of a lunch time kick-off. Spurs welcome in the lamb for slaughter when Sunderland pays them a visit and that is followed by 5 three o’clock games. Bournemouth entertains Norwich in a fixture that entertains no one, Chelsea welcomes in their superstar Lukaku…oh wait. City pummels Palace in Manchester, while Newcastle looks to halt the Frenchman (oddly enough) Payet. In other action the Saints will look to entice Pulis and his men to actually come out from their own 18 yard box. In the last fixture of the day, we see if the Leicester duo remember how to kick a donkey when they face off versus the ass, Villa.
On Sunday we see two games to add to our FPL totals. In the best fixture of the week and by ‘best’ I am just looking to make United and LFC fans feel better about themselves, Liverpool will play host to the revolutionary attacking side that is Man United. In the late game, Stoke will look to get a result versus another good side at home when they play host to Arsenal.
Monday sees the end of the game-week when the somehow defensively fantasy relevant Swans look to contain the man known by one name, Odion…sorry, Ighalo.

Cant see how this team can be improved, but if no injuries take place, then might be best to change Henn. He has been making mistakes, and should lose his spot eventually to Speroni.
My dilemma is how and when do I get Payet.
And yeah, minor things like Hennessey, Rangel & possibly Walker being dropped.
EBC the closest one to Payet price wise is Mahrez so he’s prob you’re best bet though KDB is also a possibility I guess.
Depends on:
a) your thoughts on Mahrez and
b) if you want to keep your 3 strikers as they are or downgrade one.
I got rid of Mahrez 2 GWs ago for Payet in my wildcard and it has worked so far.
I’d quite happily drop Mahrez for next 4 weeks, but will probably want him back after that. It’s a lot of value to lose but he must be off pens now…last two were shit?
KDB I think is too much when I already have Kun. Alli is value but it’s a lot of eggs in my Spurs basket.
If I had the cash I would happily drop Watson and have a strong front 8 (probably means dropping KDB).
Happy with my front 3.
Think my next three transfers will be:
Mahrez out for Wijnaldum
Igahalo and Smalling out for Charlie Austin, don’t know who Smallings replacement will be.

it’s not gonna be for a few weeks so if Ighalo shows good form he will stay. Austin was good last season though.
Sorry gunners, yeah. Ok cool, I’d certainly wait to monitor how Austin settles and see if he can become a regular starter.

Question: Is Targett otrBertrand playing in the midfield for Saints? Who’s place has Targett taken in the usual starting XI? Tadic? (assuming Bertrand is in the mid)
Bertrand is playing in a 3 and Targett wing back so indirectly for Tadic

So basically Bertrand is playing very attacking… hmmm…. might be worth looking into more closely.
Targett has 5 BPS in his last 2 games… costs nothing and this system seems to be working for them.
PP, Targett is the attacking one , not Bertrand, he is essentially playing CB. Southampton have some rough fixtures upcoming but as u say costs nothing

No idea regarding Saint starting 11, especially now with Austin coming in. I’d bank on Bertrand being the much safer of the two anyway.

Yes definitely! But if Targett is forcing himself into the starting XI at 3.7m and getting 5BPS in the last 2 games… something to look into…
But looking at their fixtures…. rather avoid it haha
I think Austin will challenge Long/Pelle for the starting striker role… got a feeling he wont cement it though and will rotate at times between them dependent on form.
PP, Heard a rumour that Juve want Pelle, so the Austin signing could be a reaction to that news.
I’d think it’s more that Pelle wants Juve than the other way round myself.
It’s an odd one that. Long looks like he’s finally gained the spot and deserves it. If they want a different dynamic then Pelle is ideal. And now Austin comes in who’s kind of a half way house between the two in terms of player / style. There are plenty of teams he’d walk into, and make an immediate impact for, but Saints isn’t one of those really. Certainly not one that is in desperate need for him.
And if Pelle doesnt go…? Will be interesting to see how it plays out.

How is everybody tonight? I’m very tempted to get smith for bellerin and silva for kdb tonight before their prices go up. This will leave me enough money to get sanchez in for alli. I have two free transfers, so all these moves will cost me -4. I could do the first two moves tonight and hold off on sanchez til tomorrow.
