Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 22 – Fantasy Premier League 2015/16

Fantasy Football Live Match ChatGW22 is live! Nothing like the sweet smell of a lunch time kick-off. Spurs welcome in the lamb for slaughter when Sunderland pays them a visit and that is followed by 5 three o’clock games. Bournemouth entertains Norwich in a fixture that entertains no one, Chelsea welcomes in their superstar Lukaku…oh wait. City pummels Palace in Manchester, while Newcastle looks to halt the Frenchman (oddly enough) Payet. In other action the Saints will look to entice Pulis and his men to actually come out from their own 18 yard box. In the last fixture of the day, we see if the Leicester duo remember how to kick a donkey when they face off versus the ass, Villa.

On Sunday we see two games to add to our FPL totals. In the best fixture of the week and by ‘best’ I am just looking to make United and LFC fans feel better about themselves, Liverpool will play host to the revolutionary attacking side that is Man United. In the late game, Stoke will look to get a result versus another good side at home when they play host to Arsenal.

Monday sees the end of the game-week when the somehow defensively fantasy relevant Swans look to contain the man known by one name, Odion…sorry, Ighalo.

Saturday in full…

Spurs v Sunderland 12:45pm

Bournemouth v Norwich 3pm

Chelsea v Everton 3pm

Man City v Crystal Palace 3pm

Newcastle v West Ham 3pm

Southampton v West Brom 3pm

Aston Villa v Leicester 5:30pm

Sunday sees two fixtures…

Liverpool v Man Utd. 2:05pm

Stoke v Arsenal 4:15pm

Monday finishes the game=week off with…

Swansea v Watford 8pm

I’m on 64 points with Butland and Ozil left to play. From top 200k now within the top 60k. Hoping to end the week in the top 100k. Most competition has 3 or 4 players left, I just have 2.

On to the next GW, I might do something silly but it’s a long term strategy. Kolarov to Daniels, Alli to Stanislas and Vardy to Lukaku for a 4 point hit. Alli is a fucking waste on my bench, also a headache. My defense isn’t superb, but I have the 3 strikers that are relevant, the rest could be taken care of later. Watcha guys reckon?

Lukaku is a must right with Swansea and Newcastle coming up next. Spurs has 2 away games, I can also do Kane to Lukaku and buy Kane back later. Would mean Kola and Kane replacement and no hit.

not for a hit Raz I dont think

      • Raziel says:

I think Lukaku is a must though, and so will Kane be in upcoming games. Vardy and Leicester lost some of their touch. Long term, you’ll get the points back for sure, I think.

        • TheDreamers says:

If you think he is a must, do it. I felt the same about Aguero last week and did a -4 – didnt work out then, but worked out now hasnt it.

Gut has to rule at various points

        • Raziel says:

Lukaku, Kun and Kane all being on penalties also makes them interesting. Good score from today, helps me to tune up my team a little. I still think Mahrez is a must and will keep him.

Just heard at MOTD that Lukaku never scored versus Chelsea. Today 3 goals and again nothing, not even an assist from him.

      AT says:

      Great score that Raz.

      As for the transfers:
I was thinking about getting Daniels, thought about getting him on a two GWs ago actually, for these last two fixtures, annoying!
Personally not sure about how good Bournemouth will be at getting points over the next few, although Palace gave looked poor of late.
I don’t like the Alli transfer, obviously, but I like 8 strong attackers even less so makes sense to me.
4 point hit rash but I can see why you might want to do it!

    gunners says:

Well that’s me Mahrez less for the first time since GW2.

Had to do the transfer tonight as FFFix has Smalling going down on price and then I wouldn’t have been able to afford Wijnaldum

    theswirly says:

    Hi guys,

My current front three are Kane, Lukaku and Ighalo. Lukaku is going down in value tonight but his next two games are too irresistible to get rid of him. Ighalo has got Newcastle next at home and so, even if he doesn’t do well against Swansea, I can’t help but feel that he’s worth keeping for a bit. That leaves Kane. Though he did very well against Sunderland today, I can’t help but think he’s the best candidate to make way for Aguero.

What do you reckon? Kneejerk reaction or is Aguero on it now? I wouldn’t do the transfer tonight because both Kane and Aguero are going up tonight and so it wouldn’t make a difference to do it tonight or the next / Monday night.

      NIN says:

Hi Swirly. It’s a difficult one all three of your strikers could easily do well next GW. Could you save a FT and then switch out Ighalo for Aguero after the Newcastle game? Spurs’ fixtures are great for a while yet so i’d keep Kane.

      • theswirly says:

        Hiya NIN!

I could do that, but taking out Ighalo would only leave me £10.6m and so I’d have to try and find £2.7m from elsewhere, which’d either be a serious downgrade for a four-point hit or the changing of two other players for an eight-point loss (as I’ve taken out Redmond for Barry – he was just losing more and more value and it gives me an extra £1m to spend). I guess it’s a case of working out who’d score more in the next five gameweeks – Aguero or Kane. So flippin’ difficult!!!

Just had a sneak peek at your team and, well, fair play! Cracking gameweek so far for you, with Ake yet to come in for Walker – as well as Ozil yet to play! Next stop is the top 100k for you, I’m sure smile

        • theswirly says:

Sorry, ignore my bit about already doing a transfer, actually – just reread your message and, yes, I see what you mean about it being after the Newcastle game. But yeah, would have to find that £2.7m elsewhere which could be problematic.

        • NIN says:

If you fancy him to outscored Kane by a lot over the next few weeks then just do the straight swap I suppose. Otherwise bank it and work from there. I think Kane will continue to do well, hence thinking of one of the other two to make way.

Strike force fairly sorted me out, the rest were pants laugh

        • theswirly says:

Haha, cheers NIN smile Will have a think about it between now and the next price rise(s)!

McCarthy to Myhill AND Willian to Firmino/Barkley/Wijnaldum/…
    OR
Willian to Firmino/Barkley/Wijnaldum/… AND Vardy to Grioud/Defoe/Rooney/Ighalo/….
    Or Another.
