Well, seems like Baines lost out on the BPs, but glad with both Wisdom and Baines in this game. laugh

    Wisdom bonus points?

    61 all out.

    A week for defenders. B)

      Raziel says:

What happened to Baines BPS though? First Kevin &#&($& him and now FPL *$*)@)#$* him. He’s cursed and so are his owners. sad

That would’ve been 8 extra points had he scored.

      • The B says:

This is the highest GW score Baines has pulled of in the last 11 GWs. So hold it together Raz, and be a little grateful for a cleanie.

Maybe my purchase of Baines came as a good luck charm, 😉

        • Raziel says:

After that game you can’t be grateful for a cleanie. Was hoping to run away a few points from my opponent, he had Wisdom, I had Baines. Looked like it all match but then………. sighs.

Life is unfair. And Tony Pulis is a gamekiller. sad

From an FPL perspective WBA defenders are a great option and Kevin Mirallas (being the selfish way he is) was a great option. Don’t think Kevin will so much more gametime. Hope they sell him or loan him out to some League One team.

        • The B says:

Im happy that both of my FTs this GW brought in cleanies and an assist.

Im bummed on my captain choices though. The last time I had a good captain was back in GW18, when RVP scored poor 7 points with a goal and YC against Newcastle. Better than four 2 pointers successively after that. :cuss:

        • Raziel says:

Good score. Great transfers you made: Iva and Baines. Baines could’ve had a monster haul tonight. As more players own Wisdom that would’ve actually been more positive for your ranking, I bet.

        • Raziel says:

As it stands now Baines is set on 1 bps again. Running 1 point away from my ”nemesis”. HIHI!

        • Raziel says:

Suddenly Coleman is on 0bps. How weird is that? WTF are they doing? Anyway, seems Jags and Stones are running away with most BPS. If I was Coleman owner I would feel betrayed, he was set on 3 not so long ago.

        • Pancho says:

I agree B! I brought him in too.
I didn’t watch the game. Did it look like Martinez intended Mirallas to take the PK or did he steal it from Baines? Woulda put lots of money on Baines finishing it :/

        • Raziel says:

PANCHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Read the f-ing chat will ya!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Kevin took it against the will of the team and the way it was setup. He’s a selfish prick.

        • Pancho says:

I read back a ways and that’s the impression I got. Sucks for those of us that own him :/

        • Raziel says:

He could’ve missed, but not likely. Anyway, if Baines had taken it and scored it would’ve changed the complexion of the game. All WBA did was defend. I say having someone like Baird in your team will be a must.

        • Raziel says:

Ps. Everton has had a lot of games like these but the luck just went against them. They conceded just 1 stupid goal. Altogether that happened on 8 occasions. Anyway, can’t wait for the next GW. I’ll have a super team with 8 home players and the entire defence having easy fixtures (except Cahill >.<).

          Fingers crossed nobody gets injured.

    The B says:

And now Baird is on a BP. Wow.

    • 196.1
      Raziel says:

He actually deserves it, he was good today. Baird will be 4m soonish I think. Hope I can get him before he turns 4m. Really don’t need Wisdom anymore since he won’t go that much forward anyway. And he only got 1 assist right? Baird is the new Wisdom. I’ll get him after the Spurs game though. Though, have to take a good look at WBA fixtures first. 5th defender? Does it really matter. >.< HMMMMMMMMMMMMM. Aaah well. Sorry, me thinking out loud.

Anyway, off for bed. Goodnight everybody. smile

      NIN says:

All the BPS should go to WBA defenders or Foster. I thought they all played well. Everton defenders getting BPS doesn’t make any sense to me.

  5. 197
    Raziel says:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAHhhhhhhhh before I go. Something funny. Martinez and Naismith gave an explanation.
Martinez offers an explanation on Kevin Mirallas withdrawal “he was feeling his hamstring”

Very diplomatic *Steven Naismith “I’m sure Mirallas came off with an injury”

    To be continued. Goodnight.

    Shadow says:

1st draft of possible wc team. Is the midfield too light?

    Foster – Pants

    Ivanovic – Fonte – Bellerin – Baird – Hutton

Fab – Sanchez – Chadli – Ward Prowse – Boyd

    Aguero – Costa – Kane

    • 198.1
      inittowinit says:

Shadow, couple of tweaks and you can grab someone like Puncheon or Johnson rather than Boyd? You may be set on Boyd though, I don’t know! Ivan to Cahill maybe. I’d probably swerve Hutton too. Villa have a bad run ahead.

      • Shadow says:

Thanks, just not seen many teams with Ivan in and although more expensive than the rest of Chelsea defence I think he might be a decent shout. Not sure who else I could really downgrade to enable me to upgrade Boyd.

I could go down dropping one of Costa or Aguero route and that would provide me with 4 good mids but not sure that’s worth it either! :/

        • inittowinit says:

I’d stick with those 2 personally. Well I am! Bread and butter points. Boyd is hardly a bad 5th either but I’m upgrading him for now. In theory. Teams very similar and I’m going Cahill and a 1 stop GK. Not to everyone’s tastes that route I know but the £’s saved allows that little upgrade.

        • gkw says:

Shadow, although all of the current top ten (global) FFL teams have either Costa or Aguero, only two have both of them. I reckon it’s better to invest more in 5 or at least 4 top midfielders where you really need to be spending in the 8m-11m range on each of them, plus budget another 18m-20m for 3 top defenders (2 Chelsea, 1 Soton say). Thing is, there’s a gulf in points between the top FFL players in those positions and everyone else. There’s not such a difference in points among goalies and among strikers (though obviously
Costa and/or Aguero are the ones to get if you can afford them). So if you invest accordingly in 3 top defenders and 5 top midfielders it leaves only about 35m-45m for the 2 goalies, your other 2 defenders and 3 strikers. With that budget, you can almost certainly still afford either Costa or Aguero but probably not both.

        • Shadow says:

Thanks, I’ll have another tinker later and see what midfield I can get with just having 1 of them, will probably keep Aguero. Will post it later on!
