GW23 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards!
This round of fixtures sees us off with a lunch time kickoff and what a game we have in store. A battle between a Hull team who couldn’t score on the FF247 writers versus a side who lost their heart and soul when the silver fox took his talents to Crystal Palace. Luckily some actual FPL talent hit the pitch with six 3pm games. Including a battle at Anfield when former Liverpool heroes Downing and Carroll pay a visit. The best fixture of the GW caps the Saturday games. As City looks to revive their hopes of challenging for the title with a visit to Stamford Bridge. Sunday brings us the last two fixtures of the GW, with Arsene’s men chasing down that coveted 4th place title vs the goal scoring machine of Aston Villa. We then finish the GW off with the surprising Saints as they look to continue their inspiring march towards the champions league.

Can’t believe how fast people are ditching Sanchez. I thought he was only left out due to a risk of aggravating his injury? Surely he will play next weekend?

Nin- last year I did very little hits. Very little. I played it really conservative but it worked.
This year, I’m shite so have taken a good few hits – but that doesn’t mean its right.
It also gives u 2 Chelsea which isn’t much but means either a good bench (Cameron isn’t) or short term buy.

NIN – they sound like good moves mate – but I’d be tempted to take the -4 only, play Wasi for Berty, then buy Ivan on a free next gameweek.

Probably worth it NIN. Not often I’d advocate such a large hit but you need Kun this week, Ivan will get you his 4 back in theory so it’s just that middle one I’d question really.
Thanks init. Yeah the Aguero transfer is 100% happening. Ivanovic, as you say, should have no problem recouping hit points and may even turn a nice profit. Johnson blanking for 3 GW’s in which they’ve scored 3 times worries me, may have missed the boat on him this time. Silva vs Hull at the Etihad…. surely!? Great fixtures after this week too.

Same here, ha. That sinking feeling was in full flow. Santi being easily the best player on the pitch was making it even more frustrating, especially after he hit the post! Thankfully he came through and scored huge.

Last seasons practically derailed a decent squad and took weeks to fix, this seasons pumped it full of steroids!

OK, here’s an unashamed gloat. Overnight my “rival” had 58 points and I had 29. Now, despite captaining Clyne, I reckon I have 73 thanks mainly to Arsenal (not least Sanchez for making way for Kane). And, my fave bit, the only player he had playing today was Bertrand
