Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23GW23 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards!
This round of fixtures sees us off with a lunch time kickoff and what a game we have in store. A battle between a Hull team who couldn’t score on the FF247 writers versus a side who lost their heart and soul when the silver fox took his talents to Crystal Palace. Luckily some actual FPL talent hit the pitch with six 3pm games. Including a battle at Anfield when former Liverpool heroes Downing and Carroll pay a visit. The best fixture of the GW caps the Saturday games. As City looks to revive their hopes of challenging for the title with a visit to Stamford Bridge. Sunday brings us the last two fixtures of the GW, with Arsene’s men chasing down that coveted 4th place title vs the goal scoring machine of Aston Villa. We then finish the GW off with the surprising Saints as they look to continue their inspiring march towards the champions league.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep checking back in and see where you stand in the leaderboard.

Morning all, somewhat predictably have ended up with major buyer’s remorse over last week’s WC. Got Pelle in for Giroud last minute so I had enough cash in the bank to do RVP > Kun whenever I wanted, and now Bertrand also needs attention. 61 was enough to win my cup match (longest run I’ve ever had!) and I’m still sniffing around the top 5k but my position has stagnated for a few weeks now. Any advice out there? I’m mostly happy with my team, but 0.7m in the bank is available. Cheers!

I expect Neil Taylor to be at West Brom by the end of the day and he’ll be first choice left back if so.

Wouldn’t risk a transfer just now.

ADM is leaving my team this week I think.

Morning Silverback. As GP already said, WBA are on the hunt for a LB so Baird may have limited time now unless they fail to sign someone for that position. Bertrand is a big loss and i intend to replace him with Ivanovic (i think). Di Maria looked relatively sharp against Leicester so i’ll be keeping him for a while yet. That crap striker role should be done with now too so we should start seeing the real Di Maria again soon (hopefully laugh )

Morning NIN great score & Cap pick Baird was just a make wt but it now doesn’t help with Bertrand red card , what are you going to do with him. I’m still not sure about ADM I will give him a couple more games. What are your plans for Costa ?

        • NIN says:

Cheers Silverback. I’ll be replacing Bertrand with Ivanovic once these cup games are out of the way. Don’t have Baird. I have no plans whatsoever for Costa. I’ll assess it once he’s available again but probably wont look to actually buy him until after the cup final at the earliest.

      NIN says:

Shane – Alexis is rumored to be fit for this weekend but i have my doubts. Hammy injuries are iffy ones. Hutton stands out as a bit of an eyesore in your team, for me. Villa are done for by the look of things so literally anybody in his place there will do once they start, and don’t also play for Villa 😉

      • Shane says:

Thanks NIN any replacement u have in mind for sanchez??And what do u think of the team any transfers needed as will have cash left when i get rid of sanchez.

        • NIN says:

I would wait for word on Sanchez first before selling him. If he’s out then Di Maria/Ozil look like good replacements. Is there a need for both O’Shea and van Aanholt? O’Shea -> Wollscheid could be a good move.
