Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23 – Fantasy Premier League 2014/15

Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Game-week 23GW23 is live! We hope you are happy with your transfers, your line-up and your all important captain selection as there’s little else you can do now other than sit back and watch the action unfold. Live Match Chat is your chance to have your say on the line-ups as they are announced, the games as they happen and the fallout afterwards!
This round of fixtures sees us off with a lunch time kickoff and what a game we have in store. A battle between a Hull team who couldn’t score on the FF247 writers versus a side who lost their heart and soul when the silver fox took his talents to Crystal Palace. Luckily some actual FPL talent hit the pitch with six 3pm games. Including a battle at Anfield when former Liverpool heroes Downing and Carroll pay a visit. The best fixture of the GW caps the Saturday games. As City looks to revive their hopes of challenging for the title with a visit to Stamford Bridge. Sunday brings us the last two fixtures of the GW, with Arsene’s men chasing down that coveted 4th place title vs the goal scoring machine of Aston Villa. We then finish the GW off with the surprising Saints as they look to continue their inspiring march towards the champions league.

Don’t forget to also share any experiences if you are participating in any or several of the woofbet.com leagues. Remember scores update in real time, so keep checking back in and see where you stand in the leaderboard.

    Morning everyone.

Looking forward to some transfers today then?

Another below average effort from me underpinned by yet another poor captaincy choice (Pelle).

A ninth consecutive red arrow week and my season looks like its petered out at GW15 ! smile Really disappointed with how things have gone since being inside the top 1K. Ah well, surely I can’t go red arrows right the way through . .

Anyway, my question is, if you don’t have Aguero yet, should we get him in this week? I have 2FT and the Bertrand suspension to deal with as well.

GP, at least you were in top 1K at some point, I have been dreaming to hit that milestone for many many GWs!

Bertrand > Wisdom would be my suggestion because of straight three favorable fixtures of WB. I know you have Foster, but you might want to play Panti for 5 out of coming 6 GWs, which means Foster will have to be benched. Who is Poco?

Yes, Aguero is captain material this GW.

things might have been better if Pelle put two sitters away. Not your fault mate.

Morning GP. I don’t know what to expect from the last day of the window. Hopefully United get a defender or 4 and a boss center mid. That would do nicely but cant see it happening. Outside of that, no Dortmund players to the league would be a big + (unless it’s to United of course)! Namely Reus and Hummels.
Re Aguero. Absolute must-have this week, for me. I’ve gone ahead and bought him already. Cant see anything but a pasting for Hull this weekend.

79 points for me last GW, thanks to the Arsenal lads and obviously PvA. Currently sitting at the all time personal highest rank of 1.6K B)

Team for next GW is here, as posted. Good to go? Did Pelle>Aguero.
I got Pelle on WC mainly because i thought his form was improving, and Swansea was the kind of defense that Pelle could have broken last night, but that didnt happen. Pretty sure I rushed into Aguero and let go off Pelle too soon, but Aguero was rising, and he has Hull too.

    Thoughts?

Aguero at home to Hull has to be a winner. Don’t think you rushed it at all. Well done in your rank btw

      • The B says:

Yes, thought that Aguero was the only player worthy of getting the arm band this GW.

        • gkw says:

Either Aguero or Silva, I reckon. With Man C’s great run of fixtures (but dodgy defence), I’m looking at ways of accommodating both of them and maybe Bony. YYT is just too expensive for me. Active WC this week, and over the past week or so things have got wonderfully complicated.

      SAFs_hairdryer says:

Are you keeping Bertrand or getting rid?

      • The B says:

I am keeping. The next transfers I will make will be planned towards the DGW, which means Ill be saving FTs for Eriksen, Kane and Austin. Bertrand will be back when Chelsea has a blank, so that will give me a boost, since Bertrand will face WB at that time and will go straight to my starting 11.

    SAFs_hairdryer says:

Morning all. Well fine to Kop in the Woofbet league. £24 will do very nicely. Another red for me this week mostly thanks to Bertrand. 85 mins- clean sheet and 3BPS. 90 mins – red card and -1 score. Gutted

    Hi everyone.
One of the worst weeks for me from 20k down to 53k and 4 inactive players after WC.
Dropped from 1st to 3rd in my mini league too.
    Really need some help.
    Have 2FT and £0.1 Bank.
Will do 3 transfers if needed.
    Advice Advice Advice.
    Thanks

      The B says:

3 of your players have a blank GW after 3 GWs. Id suggest you start using your transfers on the non starters.

      • Respect1987 says:

        Any advice on that?

        • The B says:

Maybe you should focus on replacing Dummet and ShawX first, unless they both are expected to return in a GW or two.
Naughton from Swansea is a good shout, mainly because he has Sunderland and WB in coming 2 GWs, and plays Burnley in the blank GW where you could bag a possible cleanie.

Bellerin is another obvious pick who is starting to become a must have with his attacking skills and the fixtures he has, although this GW against Spurs his chances of clean sheet are limited.
